This would open any bottled water b/c the lid of the water is fairly small. My only complaint with this is that once your get beyond a soup-can sized lid to a salsa-sized lid on a glass jar, it won't open any further. It is NOT like the metal ones I grew up with that would swing open all the way and as long as you could reach your fingers/hand to squeeze, it fit.
