Is this compatible with Printronix - P8000?

My quick internet search shows that the P8000 has an Ethernet port. If so, then you don’t need this parallel to ethernet adapter. Plug the Ethernet cable directly into the P8000. If your P8000 ethernet port is not working, and you have the optional parallel port on the P8000, then you should be able to use this adapter to connect your P8000 to the network via an Ethernet cable to your router.

I have an old 25 pin parallel port printer. Looks like this print server has 36 pins? Will this work on my 25 pin?

Check your printer again. It should have a 36 pin female slot that the print server plugs into. If there really are only 25 “pins” in that slot then maybe you don’t have a parallel port on your printer. Look online and compare a serial port cable to a parallel port cable and you will see the difference. You must have a 36 pin parallel port on your printer to be able to use this parallel port print server.

Is this compatible with Roland hybrid printers?

After a quick look at the Roland website the only “hybrid” printer I see is the VersaUV LEJ-640. That printer is connected to a computer via Ethernet cable, not via parallel port. If that is the printer you are asking about, then, no this Ethernet parallel print server will not work for you. This print server is used to connect a printer with a parallel port output to a network via an ethernet cable.

Will this work with the brother Intellifax 4100e printer?

If it's a 36 pin parallel port then it should.

Worked great with our Okidata 320

worked great with our Okidata 320 turbo. We now can use it over the network with all our Windows 11 computers. Helps to know a little about ip addresses and setting up hardware that use ip addresses

Had problems with the software

hardware works great and hooked up directly to my old HP 6MP printer which I use to print envelopes and labels. however the software was glitchy and somehow interfered with my other printers. I ended up not using the software, the main reason for using it is to reset the IP address that comes with the adapter. After that I had to manually set the TCP/IP ports on my printer drivers. Worked ok after that, I still need to get my Macs to print. Would buy again as it is the only solution out there.

Setup your parallel port printer on your network
