My hands are small (women's small glove), and these work OK for me. Occasionally I have to really stretch to reach both handles, but overall it's a good pliers. I bought another brand and took it back -- liked this one better. Like the sponge handle. The hog rings are good too. Easy to install. Good starter kit.

I order TONS of stuff on Amazon and despite most of it being perfectly fine, unless it’s poor quality, I RARELY post a review! When I ordered these Hog Ring pliers, I did so because the price was right. I did not expect them to be the best quality or construction - but I’m REALLY IMPRESSED with this product! I’m a stay home mom with very petite hands and I expected this tool would be difficult to use at best - but it was so INCREDIBLY EASY to use, I decided to post a quick review! They arrived in a padded envelope as usual but they were also nicely packaged in an easy-to-open box with the hog rings neatly bagged in a small dip style bag. The tool has green handle with an ADDITIONAL padded handle cover made out of a firm-but-squishy black foam rubber padding! This makes the tool look REALLY NICE and gives you added comfort when using it! I use tools for small DIY projects - but I’m not very strong - so I was VERY SURPRISED when I discovered I could close these hog rings with only 1 hand! I consider this tool to be high quality with a strong “spring-back” action making it easy to insert each ring and use! The metal portion of the tool is nice, clean and shiny with no rust, scratches, slimy oils or sticky grease. The packaging, tool and hog rings are free of any strange chemical smells (that I see some customers complain about for various products). I know that may seem like an odd thing to say but most women who order tools or other products online know what I’m talking about and find those heavy smells to be very offensive. At the moment, I highly recommend this product! I closed 3 hog rings so far just to try it out but I’ll use it on my project and edit this review if anything changes. It’s not very often I receive a product that far exceeds my expectations. For this reason, I felt a review was deserving. These are 16 gauge hog rings, I prefer the 14 gauge from tractor supply but these worked well. Pliers are excellent, they need a little better quality rubber hand grip material as this tore part way through during the second seat cover.

I needed these for a car seat reupholstery project and had no idea what I was doing going in but these made it really manageable. The pliers have a good spring to them so you're not fighting to keep them open between rings and the action feels solid. The hog rings that come included are good quality and went in cleanly without any issues. Way better than I expected for the price and I'd recommend them to anyone doing DIY interior work.

Good product for the cost Used this to re do the seats in my old truck Pliers sometimes slipped but for the price the product worked great. Would recommend to others

I bought this to re-upholster a seat in my 2002 Ford 250. I had a hard time controlling the rings as they kept popping out of the pliers. After looking closely, I realized the groove in the plier jaw was too narrow for the width of the supplied hog rings. I took a handful out to my anvil (I am an amateur blacksmith) and slightly flattened the two sides of the ring. They worked well after that. Maybe I'll take a dremel to the pliers' jaws, but I probably won't. I don't need it that often or that much.

Overall product came exactly as listed and fast shipping. Pliers are nice and sturdy. Awesome product for the price! Not a fan of how the spring keeps the pliers closed though. I think it would be much easier to use if the spring kept them open. I just removed the spring and used them which I liked much better

I had to replace the OE foam cushion on my QX80 and needed hog rings to help set the leather cover back into place. I for one have never done any type of work on the interiors of any car or suv I've owned so this was all new to me. This tool set worked perfectly and did exactly what its advertised for. It seemed easy to use and worth the price paid since it includes the hog rings too.
