Great tool! The combination is so handy around the house. I was going crazy hanging some multi-level shelves which have to be near perfect, but juggling a level, pencil, and stud finder (my stud finder happens to require two hands), I was having a hard time. The laser was the primary reason I purchased this product, the tape measure (which holds at the length you pull it to by default, a feature I've never seen on any tape measure, but I think all should have because it's awesome), straight edge ruler, and adjustability were bonus. For the price, it's a bargain - It's one of the best tools for a home-gamer you'll find. To be clear though, for anyone looking for to use this in a professional application, there's a reason for the other tools costing hundreds of dollars: tolerances and quality. Despite this product being excellent quality for the average person, I would not necessarily recommend it for use on a professional job. It's not made with the same high quality materials you'll find in the higher priced products, won't be able to take the same beating, and side by side with a high quality professional laser level, it's not much of a competition. Not because this product is necessarily inaccurate, but because the pro-grade tools are built to a higher standard, where tolerances and offsets are a lot smaller; The pro tools don't just cost more because they can (though some brands are exceptions to these rules); the manufacturing cost to build something with tolerances of +/- 0.01 degree (or better) are astronomical and drive up the price significantly. Not to mention, on smaller products, you're just not going to be able to tell the difference when hanging shelves or a picture. But try hanging drywall with this and you'll probably find that the differences add up and that list piece might have a gap at the top or bottom.

It works great. Never used one before directions were easy to follow. I hung my pictures and they were straight and even. Very pleased

10/16/16 Update The Qooltek team contacted me and sent me a new product based on the defective lever on the measuring tape a little over a month ago. I really did appreciate that they were responsive to these reviews, so a plus on customer service. This second one worked as it should. The tape measure stopped when it should. The laser worked as it should and the beam shots straight. I liked that you can change to different beam settings. The levels were true when comparing to other larger beams. Overall, I am satisfied with this product. I only gave it a 4 star because I feel the switch should be a button that's pressed in instead of a switch. I don't put this item in my tool bag anymore because I'm afraid another tool with hit the switch and kill the battery. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to consolidate and not have multiple tools. When I first saw this, I thought it was just what I needed. It had a leveler, laser beam and measuring tape all in one. I don't need to buy three different items when one solves all three. Don't be fooled! 1. Measuring tape does not stay. It says to pull and it should stick and when you press on the button, it will retract. It does not stay and retracts so you would have to hold the measuring tape in order to use it. Did not work from the start. 2. The laser beam did work and it seems accurate. The problem is the switch. It's too easy to have one of your tools just hit and switch it to the on position. I place mine in my toolbag and one of my tools hit the switch to the on position. I used it one and my battery is dead. I do not want to keep on replace the batteries out each time. 3. The leveler is good. I like it that it's the only thing that's reliable. 4. The ruler is good for measuring small items. If you just need a leveler and measuring tape and don't mind other things that may not work, then, this may work for you. For most people, it won't be good enough. I would rather spend the money and get something better.

This has been one of my best buys on here. It was cheap, I had no knowledge of the manufacturer but bought it because of the low price. The leveler has horizontal, vertical and 45 degree. This has been helpful for installs of decorative molding and panels, making picture frames, and other woodworking projects. The laser level is also another feature that comes in handy on diy home projects. It has a horizontal laser level feature and a cross leveler which has helped me level when I need to account for corners as no room is truly square. This laser leveler has been a great tool for hanging everything from cleat systems for heavy objects to window hardware to pictures. There is a tape measure which is covers about 8 feet in length. Also on both sides of the tool; on side measures in inches and the other side in centimeters. That's been great when needing to measure smaller widths and thicknesses.

Oooltech Multipurpose Laser Tool Review. This review is for the Oooltech multi-purpose laser tool featuring 3 varied liquid analog levels (0, 45 & 90 degrees) and dual sided quick measuring strips; one side standard (6") and the other metric (15cm). At also features an 8 foot tape measure but what is most important is what I'll be taking a close look at today and that's the multi position laser. Laser, through a simple on off power switch, can be aligned to produce different angles of laser line or a pinpoint cross. This is performed using a flathead screwdriver, which is not the one included; that is for changing the 3x LR44 – AG 13 button batteries. I think I would've preferred an adjustment tool over the Phillips-head screwdriver they provided because that would get a lot more use through the life of the laser. The laser is very bright, and extremely easy to set up. Pretty much a no-brainer here. If you need a level line, you got one. Hang your pictures up align your shelves have a blast. If you need a vertical line which is the reason why I purchased this, it pretty much does the trick but I found that there was something I missed almost immediately and that was the lack of a tripod mount. I am going to experiment around with a few things but just having a hole at the base that's threaded properly for a tripod would have made this a definite addition to my junk drawer toolbox. As it is, if I lose it once the job is over I don't think I'm going to be heartbroken. Yet saying that, I feel very confident that it is going to do the job I expected to do. Personally, I did not need a tape measure are even the two metal sides for measuring 15 cm or 6 inches, however, saying that, I could probably see myself using it should I need to draw a quick straight line and had a pencil nearby. Ironically enough they include a small metal ruler that they call the beam adjustment tool. Let me just call it what it is: a small six-inch metal ruler that just happens to have a thin enough edge to be able to adjust the tool. Now for the price I'm not asking a lot out of this but, just a little bit more effort and maybe have one of the edges be slightly rubberized so that you don't have to worry about scratching the lens as they warn you to take care to prevent from happening within the instructions. All in all, the price is right and the laser is strong so I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends depending on the job they need done. Feedback to the manufacture, if there is a way to create a vertical laser line that can be angled upward allowing the laser to be drawn over a longer distance while sitting closely to an object being lased, this would be a huge help. For example, when aligning screws for cabinet installation it would be great to place the laser within the cabinet shelf in order to have a line from the top screw that would draw all the way to the bottom of the cabinet and allow it to properly marked where the base screw should go in order to make sure it hits the stud. As it is, this one does not even come close to being able to do that, hence the need for the inclusion of a tapped hole for a tripod. Note: I purchased this from Amazon. I found this Qooltek product while hunting for a spirit level and measuring tape to up my game for apartment DIY work. Eyeballing a horizontal line is pretty hard and I still feel bad about 2-3 mistakes in the past that we have to live with. Out of the box, it feels pretty solid for its plastic body, don't think it will break the first time I drop it on the floor. It came with batteries and I thought argh, I have to open the compartment to install them. To my pleasant surprise, there's already batteries in the device and the included ones are spares. There's also a small metal ruler (meant as a calibration tool for the laser angle) and a small screwdriver for opening up the battery compartment. Like the little touches! By the way, in case you're wondering, this is definitely a Chinese product. Under no illustrations before the purchase that it's neither going to be a very good spirit level or measuring tape. My main hope for the tool is to be used to make level line marks across a small distance (e.g. marking 3 points to install a mirror on the back of the door). For that, it's definitely good enough. If you need to mark out points across a large distance, I think it's much more accurate to get a long level with higher precision. For its measuring tape, it works but it's not the smoothest experience. If you do a lot of measurements, you probably want a traditional measure. Again, it works well enough to be useful for a quick measurement from the pocket. Overall I feel quite happy to have this, given the price.

Works very good

It seemed ok when just looking at it, but comparing the laser on this to my "real" level-ruler that has liquid/bubbles in it, this gave a different result. Then I tried an older american-made laser level and it matched the alignment of my liquid level-ruler, but again differed from this tool. So its simply not accurate for determining if something is level or not. Also the tape measure sticks. So I can't really recommend it. Get something else.

super práctico, es pequeño, pesa poco, pero es preciso, tienes 3 tipos de medición laser (va un poquito duro el botón pero se acciona bien) y con el metro incorporado y los niveles... genial para lo pequeño que es, y para tareas de casa lo veo perfecto, colgar cuadros etc

Noch konnte ich mein neues Spielzeug praktisch nah erproben, stand auch kurz davor zurück gesendet zu werden, denn das einlegen der Knopfzellen hat mir das äußerste abverlangt!
