Can this magnifier be used over prescription spectacles?

It can with a little bit of patience to get it comfortable, but I wear prescription glasses and found there is more than enough magnification with the variety of lenses that I use it without my glasses on. I use it to make Metal Earth models which have tiny pieces that need twisting, bending, etc, and find them ideal.

What sort of focal length do you get as my wife needs to focus on about 2 / 3 feet as she does those diamond painting things .

With my vision, using the 3.5 mag lenses my focus is about 15 cm.

Can you buy replacement lenses? I have dropped two of them and the connector snaps off

It may be more economical to order another complete unit, than try to source replacement lens or parts.

How do I get the arms off the glasses so I can use the headband.

at the point, as shown in the image, is where the arm bends, on the outside , of each of the arms, you will see a small indentation that kind of resembles a house shape, press in and pull apart gently then just plug the adjustable strap in
