Once you have all of the nozzles replaced the water pressure will build up in the lines allowing the heads to throw further. My back yard needed 28 rainbird spray heads replaced but I found by replacing just the nozzles with these retro fits I am saving a lot of doe, have equal or better coverage and not wasting as much water.
