This is the only one so far that is close to what a reading comprehension instructional book should be. It's written for teachers by a teacher. I found this product while randomly looking on Amazon and thought it was worth a try. Oh My! I am so grateful that I stumbled upon it. We are only on the 6th week of the program (we are doing 2 weeks / animal). My daughter went from not being able to form a complete written sentence 6 weeks ago, to not only reading the story but reading the questions and answering in complete sentences in proper form. I am thrilled with the results and look forward to completing the program.Yes, there is a lot of repetition. In the beginning I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it... but it wouldn't matter, cause this has become the HIGHLIGHT of our homework time together. She loves the predictability and stability of the lessons.
