Great for Pilates
Needed a more comfortable, thicker mat for doing rehab Pilates. I have used this for 3 months now and couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommend especially for Pilates/physio exercises.

Stretches during use.
Hated it. Used once and injured myself. The ridges run widthways and when I stood with my feet one in front of the other, the ridges moved apart from each other ie it stretched. It caused my to over stretch my stiff muscles and hurt myself.

Wonderful mat 10/10! It is thick enough such that my knees and back dont hurt anymore after using this, super comfortable! Definitely recommend to all!

Dangerous on Smooth Floor Surfaces
I will NOT recommend this mat for non-carpeted floors - it is very slippery against a smooth floor surface (does not have traction with the floor, and feels like you are on ice), as it traps a thin a layer of air between the floor and mat (regardless of which side of the mat you use) All my children have slipped and fallen, to the point where we’ve just thrown the mats out rather than risk further injury.
