The traditional watch-style strap meant that it was either just a bit to snug or a bit too loose, both of which caused problems with the accuracy of the heart rate monitor. When it fell apart, I decided to try a different material.This nylon strap uses a hook-and-loop fastener, which makes it easy to adjust to your wrist and get it just right instead of finding a compromise. It's slightly stretchy, which makes it easier to shift the Fitbit so it sits comfortably on your wrist.I think it looks pretty good, and seems to be well built, at least as good as the original strap. I'm not sure why most straps are silicone, this strap seems to be an improvement in every way, especially if you'll be exercising with it on (and that's kind of the point, right?).At $11, I thought the price was a bit steep, but it does seem to be a step up from the other cheap replacement bands. I can say so far it has been worth it, and definitely recommend this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by K***R on May 19, 2019* I've been wearing this band on my Fitbit Alta HR for a few weeks and find it very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I've tried a few other bands (magnetic and original style) and this band is up there with the buckle bands. I'm not afraid it will fall off (like the magnetic which kept on sticking to anything metal). I also felt it was difficult to buckle and was thicker than I wanted. I love this new band. It is slimmer, cute and I just love the ease of a velcro band.
