Fantastic compressor, even better customer service.
First off, this compressor is fantastic... Super quiet, does everything I need it to (bought it because oilless and I need it to spray lacquer finishes on custom guitars I create). My finishes now come out flawless as I no longer have oil mixing in the air. The output is enough for me to be able to paint a full body in one go. The tank size is actually more than I expected. Keep in mind that I use detail guns... Not full spray guns for my finish work.. but as I don't need to lay down a lot of material I can use a full size gun for the primer layers without much trouble. Why excellent customer service, well my delivery has a little mishap, one of the air filters was crushed during shipping. I asked them about it and they more than compensated me for the inconvenience. If only other companies cared this much about their customers. The filter looks funky, but it is working fine... I'm already making a "hot rod" type filter for it using an old Weber carburetor filter housing with a HEPA wrap. I could not recommend this compressor more, you will not be disappointed.

10 stars for tough!
When this arrived via UPS, the delivering driver came to the house and got me to come look at the box before unloading it. It was almost completely destroyed and had been profusely taped up making it look even worse. We took it off the truck, brought it into my garage and unpacked it. There was not a mark , dent or scratch on it. I could not believe it! Plugged it in, ran the break in procedure and all the test which it passed with flying colors! It’s a keeper and continues to fulfill it’s duty with zero issues. It is the quietest air compressor I have ever used. Good job Stealth for building, what is at this point, a very good product!

Sturdy and quiet.
Solid. I was somewhat surprised at the weight of the compressor, but it moves easily on its wheels. While not whisper quiet, it is much quieter than any compressors I’ve had experience with in the past. And it holds air when not in use. I was busy in the house when it was delivered, but sounded like it was dropped off by a lift truck. It was left right in front of my gate door. Perfect.

Got it for detailing cars. Unit is having problems after light use.
I use the compressor to detail cars. When I blow air under the seats to remove crumbs or use the Tornador it uses s lot of air and the 20 gallon unit is able to keep up. I have seen a Tornador powered by a 6 gallon pancake compressor but I think anything less than the 150 psi and 5 cfm 20 gallon would be insufficient. Any larger and it wouldn’t fit in my van. Any smaller and it wouldn’t do the job as well. The unit performs flawlessly and is very quiet especially inside the van. In order to get the right fittings I had to go to a detailing shop. No luck at the hardware store. They were no help at all. I knew more than the employees. Update: the compressor started refusing to cut on after the pressure got down to 120psi. I’ve been having to let all the air out of the tank before it will kick back on. I thought it was overheating but sometimes it refuses to come on at all when I first go to use it. I though maybe the extension cord gauge was not the right size or was too long. But sometimes it works flawlessly with the same setup. I can’t find any real pattern. The manual says to check page seven for the right extension cord gauge but looking over page 7 there is no such information. Customer service is practically non existent. They have no authorized warranty repair locations at all. The young kid who answers the phone just looks at a copy of the user manual and tries to fumble through a guess as to what it might be. He wanted to send me a pressure switch and have me install it but I’m not handy so I can’t install a pressure switch. So now he says he’s going to try to get me approved to send me a new unit. We’ll see what happens. I’m not happy because the unit was brand new with very little use. I bought it in January and never started using it until March. It’s April and I’m already having problems.

Does not go to 150 psi
Very quiet motor which is the main reason I bought it. Everything seems high quality and works well. I broke it in like the instructions said and the next day filled it up with air but it only tops out at 140 psi. The motor isn't quite as fast as the previous one but the other one was only a 10 gallon one to be fair. Even so I know 5 CFM isn't the fastest. It isn't too heavy and is very easy to maneuver around. The wheels on it are nice and big for moving around on gravel and stuff. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase but I'm still pretty bummed out with the 140 psi cutoff; but if that doesn't matter to you it is a good value compressor.

I Love It!
I'm amazed at how quiet this unit is. I'm used to compressors sounding like a jackhammer in my small shop. This unit makes half the noise, it's actually so quiet I at first couldn't believe it. It builds up pressure quickly and does all I can ask of a small compressor. I don't know yet about longevity, but if it lasts it is by far the best small compressor I have ever owned. My last compressor was a cheapie, although it was an oil type, it lasted less than 2 years. This is the first oil-less compressor I have ever owned, I'll have to see if they live as long, but at my age and considering how little I use it I expect it to last my lifetime. And I did mention how incredibly quiet it is?

It IS quieter than most
So you will not want this next to your bedside, but it is quieter than other (even smaller) air compressors I have had in the past. Set up was pretty straight forward and easy. My biggest complaint is that it is heavy and not the easiest to maneuver around. It can be done, but will take some strength. Lifting it up to a truck bed will certainly be a chore. If you are just using in your shop - I think it is great. I also use mine to blow out my sprinkler, so need to move it around a bit more, but it is certainly better than a 6 gallon for that job. Overall I would recommend. My complaint is self induced, since I bought a 20 gallon - it will be heavy
