Much better than the off brand fasteners.

I use many of these fasteners in by business. These are a great value for the price.

My box of 50 two-piece fasteners was a scattered mess in the Amazon bag- ACCO or Amazon needs to fix the flimsy carton these come in- a .02 fix. Please do that. The fasteners are heavy duty and hold a rectangle of maybe 10-40 sheets of paper. While not sharp edged, they are rough and you could still cut yourself, so be careful. They would be helped by being coated like some of the classification folder prongs are. For holding small numbers of papers, e.g. fewer than 10 sheets, these are excessive- they are cumbersome and time consuming to detach. The prongs and closing bar are not comfortable to touch. For holding securely an important 30 page document, these are ideal. But for quick in-and-out of a few individual sheets, e.g. less than ten, look elsewhere. This is a "niche" product to have in your toolbox, not an everyday, general purpose one.

I use this to make books I've printed out in booklet format for homeschool (Robinson Curriculum). Holds the books together, so that no glue is needed. I just use duck tape to cover the spine and prongs. Voila!

I remember using this kind of clips in China. These work great just like I expected.

These are the best. They hold up my files and my paperwork in place.

No sharp edges and metal is rigid enough to hold papers securely together. Durable so both pieces can be removed and reused multiple times.
