I will stay on this forever
I started taking this about a year and a half ago- I'm now 4.5 months pregnant. I was pretty wary about prenatals for several reasons: (1) I thought most- like the ones my doctor gave me- required multiple dosages. I have a hard time remembering my keys let alone taking a vitamin more than once per day. Plus, there's number 2... (2) Some multivitamins have made me nauseous or annoyed my stomach. I don't have a weak stomach, but some have bothered me. I knew a prenatal packed so much stuff in it that this could be painful. In regards to multiple dosages, I figured taking more than one vitamin a day might be just as bad as a single vitamin jammed with everything I need. (3) There are so many choices out there that you can easily get lost. And the prices range from exceptionally cheap to ridiculously expensive and it's hard to know what is really good. When I researched prenatals, I compared each against the recommended allowances for each supplement. Most of the ones that you took once per day did not give you enough of one item or another. Most of the vitamins that sufficed required multiple dosages and, as I mentioned, that wasn't for me. And then I ran into Rainbow Light on a pregnancy website and noticed it had high reviews- and a lot of them- from all over the web. I liked that it was vegetable-based (I'm not a vegetarian, but I figured this might be easier on the stomach) and an all-in-one pill. It met every requirement for a prenatal except for calcium. I wound up buying this and the Rainbow Light calcium supplement and I've been hooked ever since. From day one I felt no nausea, no upset stomach, nothing- not even taking both pills together. Yes, they're large, but I don't have a problem with that, so I can't say much about that except it seems many prenatals are huge. As with most vitamins I've taken, I either notice a gradual change or nothing at all. With this one, I noticed my nails and hair growing stronger and faster (before I was pregnant). I haven't been sick a day since I started on them, though that could be coincidence. But I do feel great and had no problems taking these even during the first trimester. I did wind up having to take a Vitamin D supplement after I started seeing my OB because it seems the recommendations are changing. This vitamin gives you 400IU, the normal, recommended amount for pregnant/nursing women, but my doctor wants me to take 2000IU. On top of all of this, this vitamin is reasonably priced. I've paid anywhere from $19 to $25 for 150 count. For the price, convenience, and quality, I don't know how this could be beat. I just bought the men's multivitamin for my husband, so we'll see what he thinks of that one.

Side by side comparison between Rainbow Light and IntraNaturals prenatal vitamins
I am not a nutrition expert by any means but I have been taking a prenatal vitamin for about four years between ttc, being pregnant, nursing, ttc again, and now in my second pregnancy so I have done a lot of research on them. My top two prenatal vitamins have been Rainbow Light and IntraNaturals so here is a side by side comparison of the two. Both have very similar vitamin and mineral amounts (many are the exact same amounts). IntraNaturals has more Vit D which I am always low on, while Rainbow Light has more iron. Some pregnant women have trouble with their iron levels getting low but mine are always good so extra iron just binds me up (probably a little too much info but worth noting). A couple other vitamins have slightly different amounts but those were the two that affect me the most during pregnancy. Both brands have a probiotic blend added which is a must and I even use another separate probiotic because pregnancy takes a toll on your digestive and immune system (your gut health has a large impact on your immune system!). IntraNaturals has ten probiotic strains listed and Rainbow Light only has one but I am not sure which has a higher cfu count as only Rainbow Light has listed theirs (25,000,000CFU). Generally I would say it is better to have a variety or probiotics though I wish I knew how many were in there. Both also contain an enzyme blend which I desperately need during pregnancy (like I said my digestive system needs a lot of help during this time). Intranaturals wins this category as well as they include six different enzymes (at 100mg) while Rainbow Light only has four (at 24mg). I have also noticed that if I take my Rainbow Light and don't eat right away I get sweaty and nauceous but I have been able to take my Intranaturals without that happening. Not normally a problem but sometimes when helping a toddler in the morning I don't always eat right when I think I will! The last section would be Rainbow Light's prenatal blend vs IntraNaturals organic fruit and vegetable powders. Rainbow Light contains a 90mg prenatal blend that includes red raspberry leaf extract, ginger, and organic spirulina. These are all good things during pregnancy and I actually have tried drinking red raspberry tea in the third trimester. Instead of this blend, IntraNaturals has organic beet root, carrot root, spinach leaf, broccoli leaf, collards leaf, blueberry fruit, raspberry, pomegranate, cucumber, ginger root, cabbage leaf, blackberry, cherry, and cranberry fruit powder (totaled up to 300mg). Now neither of these are going to replace eating your fruits and veggies but I like the extra nutritional support! The pills themselves are similar in size with the Rainbow Light pill being slightly larger. I have never had troubles swallowing pills so that doesn't matter much to me and both have a natural smell. They just smell like vitamins to me but if you are used to taking coated vitamins that don't have a smell you might want to be aware. Overall both of these are good vitamins though IntraNaturals actually comes out ahead for me! The extra vitamin D with only 100% instead of 167% of the daily iron are big for me! Plus the IntraNaturals doesn't bother my stomach at all if I get caught up in something and don't eat immediately afterwards. I also like the variety in their enzyme, probiotic and fruit and veggie blends as it seems a little more well rounded. That said, Rainbow Light definitely comes out ahead price-wise as you get 150 pills for the price of 60 of the IntraNaturals. I would feel confident taking either of these prenatals so they both get five stars from me. I am not a nutritional expert and if you have nutrition questions I suggest asking your nutritionist or doctor but I hope my review was helpful!

Great prenatal vitamins!!
My husband and I started to talk about expanding our family next year. Being that I am a nurse I wanted to get started on preparing my body for the upcoming pregnancy. I started to do research on prenatal vitamins out there and wanted to find a natural prenatal that would give my body and the future baby all of the nutrients that might be lacking from my diet. I have read a lot of reviews and have done nutritional fact comparisons for several prenatal vitamins that are available over the counter. I have to say that Rainbow Light Prenatal is a great one-a-day vitamin that is filled with 100% natural nutrients needed for a healthy pregnancy as well as probiotics and digestive support nutrients which ease digestion and prevent stomach upset. This vitamin caught my attention because it was a whole food based vitamin, and for the daily intake of just one tablet, it packs a lot of nutrients. Although I am not yet pregnant and cannot speak for morning sickness, this vitamin is very gentle on my stomach and it does not make me nauseated nor does it give me gas/ constipation. Since taking these vitamins, I have to say that my energy level has increased tremendously, my hair and nails got noticeably stronger and I feel an overall boost to my immune system! I have to say that feeling "these effects" after taking this vitamin is a pleasant surprise because I have never felt any of them while taking multi-vitamins before. While preparing to conceive, I am trying to cut back on my caffeine intake and this "boost" of energy that I am feeling lately is definitely helpful. So while scanning the nutritional facts on the bottle it is quickly apparent that this prenatal packs a lot of nutrients with most of them being at 100% or more of the daily value. However, because Rainbow Light is a great source of Iron, 30 mg (167% of daily value) and taking too much calcium at the same time as an iron supplement will not allow the iron to be absorbed properly, the calcium supplementation in this prenatal is on the lower side, only 200 mg (15% of daily value). The same goes for the a lower content for Magnesium, only 100 mg (22% of daily value). I did not see this as a problem, I simply added a Calcium/ Magnesium supplement to my prenatal routine. Calcium is very important to any woman, especially to women who are pregnant or lactating, so this was a must in my book. I know it's a bit inconvenient that I need to add another supplement to give this vitamin a better boost, however by braking the iron and calcium up in two different servings I can ensure proper absorption of both and that makes it worth while. I also feel that adding a DHA supplement to a prenatal routine is very important, therefore I decided to take a separate DHA/ EPA supplement. So I take the Rainbow Light vitamin and the DHA supplement in the morning with breakfast and take me Calcium/ Magnesium supplement in the evening with dinner. Even though I had to add separate supplements to make this prenatal vitamin more complete, I don't see that as a problem at all. The fact that Rainbow Light is 100% whole food derived and natural as well as being gentle on my stomach makes it a great vitamin. By adding the calcium/ magnesium supplement and taking it a different time is actually a benefit because it ensures proper absorption of both nutrients, iron and calcium, which are so important in pregnancy.

Great 1 a day prenatal
EDITED UPDATE: Finished entire bottle and very minimal oxidation (black marks). Only happened with a few pills towards the very end. Just make sure to close the bottle tightly and handle with dry hands! I had absolutely zero issues with the pills from amazon. No different than the ones I've bought in store. For people feeling nauseous, you might want to try an iron free vitamin. I find this actually helped keep away nausea because of the ginger. Either way, nausea is a normal side effect of pregnancy. So far, so good. Opening them, the pills looked normal. They are the same quality as I have gotten in store. I'm not sure why people think the ones they are getting are less quality than store ones since they all come from the same manufacturer. I was a bit worried by all the pictures of black pills at first. I had taken these during my last pregnancy and continue to trust the brand. I had at the time contacted them via email and was advised over time the blackish marks is the oxidation of iron, but doesn't affect the quality/effectiveness of the vitamins. Just make sure you don't keep them in humidity and in a cool area and don't take out the humidity absorber in the bottle. My previous bottles have oxidized, but no where near the pictures I am seeing. I do like these are one a day. They are a bit big though to swallow. One of the biggest pills I've taken. I do like it is natural and has additional support for digestion and morning sickness. I wish the taste going down was better and glided more, but to be expected I guess. You can definitely taste the iron and after a while of oxidation the iron taste becomes more pronounced. Until there is anything better, I will continue to take these since I trust the company and it is a quality product. It has everything I need in one pill

Essential for a Healthy Pregnancy
I’ve been taking the Rainbow Light Prenatal One High Potency Daily Multivitamin, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice! This multivitamin has everything I need for a healthy pregnancy, including folate, which is so important during this time. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients and includes ginger, which helps with nausea—such a thoughtful addition! The capsules are easy to swallow, and I appreciate that they’re gentle on my stomach. Since starting these vitamins, I feel more energized and confident that I'm supporting both my health and my baby’s development. Overall, I highly recommend Rainbow Light Prenatal One to any expecting mother. It’s truly a fantastic product that delivers! Five stars!

The best prenatals out there!
Being a second time mom I highly recommend these to anyone! The ingredients and quality are unmet. I’ve tried other prenatals and they are just nowhere near the same as these. The quality and ingredients are exactly the amounts you need to keep your growing baby healthy and perfect for nursing moms as well. What I love too is that these prenatals also include probiotics and vegetable blend to keep your body digesting well! I seriously love the value of these prenatals and recommend to all moms out there. My only reason I gave these a 4 is because they are quite large. This does make it challenging in the beginning especially swallowing a large pill and combating morning sickness. However, due to the value and ingredients it is worth it to get these!!!

The best prenatal multivitamin for the price
The best prenatal multivitamin for the price. Due to years of struggling with infertility, I have done extensive research on prenatal vitamins before settling on this one because part of my infertility issues are helped but vitamin supplementation. I chose this multivitamin due to the variety and amounts of each vitamin/nutrient and the quality (form) of each nutrient in this multi. For example, my doctor told me that there are two forms of Vitamin E - d-alpha Tocopheryl and dl-alpha Tocopheryl. The former is the natural form and also more easily absorbed while the latter is often the sign of a low-quality product. In looking at countless labels, I've found that, typically, multis with the better form of Vitamin E and other more natural forms of nutrients run in $40 range per bottle. This one is much more reasonably priced and I feel that it is still a high quality product. If you compare this label with similarly priced or less expensive brands, you will see the amounts of each nutrient as well as the forms of the nutrients are higher/better. While I'm sure there are more organic and fancier choices out there, I do believe this is the best quality multi I have found for a reasonable price. Another thing that people often ask about is pill size. This is a good-sized pill. I would say about the width of a quarter and pretty thick. I do not have issues swallowing pills but for those who do this might be an issue. That being said, because our bodies can only absorb so much of each nutrient at a time, I cut these tablets in half and take one at breakfast and one at dinner. This makes them a much more reasonable size and also maximizes the amount of nutrients my body absorbs. Oh, one more thing! These turn your urine neon yellow! It took me by surprise the first couple of days. Now I use it as a reminder that I took my vitamin (or not!). Overall, I'm very happy with this product and think you will be too!

Good so far
Got this prenatal because I was struggling with constipation. I’m currently 10 weeks and I’ve been taking it for 2 weeks now. It has definitely fixed the constipation issue however I cannot say for a fact that it’s giving the me the vitamins it claims to give yet because I haven’t tested my vitamins levels. The pill itself is huge and taste icky .
