This is a game-changer. I am such a hot-natured person I cannot be in the same car with a cold person. My leather seats reflect my own body heat and are miserable even in the winter. I really hope this seat lasts for as long as I keep my car. It is great. (I wish I could find one for a livingroom chair). It does require a cigarette lighter.

I have a 20+ year old car. The air conditioner went out on it 4yrs ago. I really didn't want to put $1700 into a new system because of the value of the car. I try to run errands on 'cloudy' days and early in the morning since I live in the south, especially when it's in the 90's!! I've been riding with car fans I purchased from Amazon. I saw this when I was searching. I've riden with it in the hot part of the day three times now. I started out in the mid morning when it's cool, so the air coming from the cushion is cool. When I get in and the car is hot, it's warm air. It's the same with the other fans I have. The air is only as cool as the air it's circulating!!! The air from the cushion does however keep my clothes from sticking to me, so that is worth it!!! So don't expect it to work like an AC!! The cushion makes my car look a little better as I have grey interior! I can hear the fan that runs it, but it's not loud enough to be a distraction!!

Works pretty well for what it is. The fan is a little loud and the air doesn't get as far up the back as I wanted, but it was really a game changer for avoiding sweaty backs during summer months and on long road trips. It eventually started to fall apart on me, but less than $50 for 3 years seems like a pretty good deal to me

I've had this almost a year now. Initially this was awesome. I've got a newer car with great AC, but my seats are black leather and in the blazing summer they can really hold heat. So even when it's not on, it holds you off the seat a bit. On high, it definitely cools. 5 stars! Once the car cooled down I generally left it on low. But the low stopped working a few months after purchase. High was still working fine. Then about 6 months in, the air stopped blowing on the back; just the seat was cooling. About 10 months after purchase, it stopped blowing on the left side, so only my right leg/bottom gets cooled. It's aggravating. The concept is amazing; the application is lacking. This is made of cheap parts that will stop working probably sooner rather than later. I will rebuy a similar unit but not from this company. Another thing to note - I thought I would take this out during the winter, but it provided a buffer from the very cold seat so I left it in.

Works great for those long trips in hot weather.

I bought this 2pk product in hopes of easing the extreme heat. Upon trying them out, one item was defective off the batt with only the bottom portion working. The 2nd item worked fully, 100%. It definitely had an excellent draw with the fan motor and output for the entire seat cushion. You can even hear it. I of course needed a replacement for the defective item. I contacted an Amazon rep, because I only wanted to return one item. They ended telling me that it's not possible as it came in a 2pk. They could've helped a little more, switched numbers around, maybe charge me for the 1pk item and ship me a replacement and then request a refund if it worked just like the other item had. However, that wasn't the scenario at all. I was forced to return a great working item. The rep created the replacement 2pk item shipment, which I received within two days (today). Once I received the replacements I tried them out right away and neither one of them worked at all. One item was barely having any draw on the high setting. The other had a motor that didn't even work. So now I'm forced to return the items and going to request a refund. Customer service was lacking and was lazy. Not buying this product again, nor should you.

After reading reviews, I almost didn't purchase. Out of desperation to save my marriage in the midst of an Alabama summer after my husband insisted on getting leather seats for MY new vehicle (I've always hated leather), I decided it was worth a shot. These have saved us! Very easy to install, and works well in my RAV4. Sometimes my large bod will block some of the air holes, but a small shift in position, and it's back to cooling the crown jewel! The material isn't as soft as I'd like, but I imagine that's impossible in order to still get the function. It isn't uncomfortable at all, even after several hours. I've had this several months now and was holding off on a review to make sure it lasted. If it died today, I'd immediately order another one. Well worth the money!!!

I work out of my truck for most of the day in the construction industry. During the summer months, my back and "bottom" would always get drenched in sweat. But not anymore. This air conditioned seat cover keeps me nice and cool. And i really like how powerful the air flow is. To put it in perspective, I am usually wearing thick carhartt work pants, and I can feel the air flow, even when its only on Low mode. I havent needed to go to high mode yet, and I dont think I ever will. In terms of comfort, it hasnt changed the physical comfort level for better or for worse. In terms of noise, it is a little noisy, but its more of a light white noise in the background. I can still make calls with it on in my truck and have no problems hearing the other perso n In terms of durability, I haven't had it for very long, so I can't comment on that. Even if I only get 1 or 2 summers out of it, thats well worth the $50 price. Again I highly reccomend this cover

Me gusta que si refresca cuando la temperatura al interior del carro es altísima por haberse quedado en el sol, me hubiera gustado que diera el aire también en toda la espalda, se me hace una excelente relación costo beneficio, un poco ruidoso.

El aire que genera al conectarlo al carro sólo se percibe en la parte baja, en la espalda no se sintió nada. Es rígido, no es cómodo
