Does it's job very well. Cutting through the vinyl backing and leaving the actual viny in tact with no issues. Good price, seems to be good quality, and was able to get it delivered fast. I've only used it on two types of vinyl/backings but it has cut both of those very well.

These are a game changer for vinyl wrap installation. My installer was having a hard time getting the process down and these made all the difference.

How am I just now finding this?!?! If you ever need to trim backing paper from behind transfer tape, this is the tool! During application, I sometimes tap the piece in place and only remove the backer from half of the piece. Cutting the backer with scissors can by awkward, or even dangerous (around auto paint). This tool makes it super easy. Same goes for cutting off the backer to expose alignment features for stacking layers. Love this thing!

I bought one to try. You get what you get for the money. If you seriously need one of these tool, go yellow tool. More expensive but very safe. This guy, if you do not pay attention, it will rip the vinyl.

Cuts sheet vinyl flooring as well as vinyl faux leather fabric with ease. Cutting direction is towards you (pulling the knife) though which I feel is awkward for larger pieces. I'd have preferred it to be away from you (pushing the knife) like the way you'd use scissors, but maybe that's just me.

My first one was stolen so this is #2, worked great the first time so no hesitation to buy it again.

This is a great addition to my vinyl tool kit, wish I had picked it up years ago. Really push down the Teflon

Works great, came with extra Teflon which helps it not stick to the vinyl adhesive when cutting, risking the chance of tear or cutting through both the backing paper and the vinyl. The one I used previously did not have any Teflon. This works just as well as the more expensive one for quarter of the price. Only thing is, you must flip,rotate, and replace the blades more often than I would like.

Works great. Sure beats using a utility knife and trying to cut just the backing.
