Best Stir Bar Kit Ever! This is my senior year as a college chemistry student, so I have gone through countless of these magnetic stir bars. I was so pleased to find this amazing magnetic stir bar kit; it has every size that I could ever need with an amazing container so that I don’t have to use new plastic bags in the long run. The magnets are super strong and durable, they work perfectly at different speeds and with different size stir bars. The manual they provide in the reusable packaging is very helpful, so that I don’t have to look up all the different sizes and product information while in the lab. The magnetic stir bar retriever is so handy to have in the kit because I normally have to purchase it separately. Also, I can retrieve the stir bars easily without having to put my hands in the solution. Best of all, the stir bars are balanced so when I turn up my hotplate they don’t start to bounce around everywhere. Do yourself a favor and buy this one, it hands down beats the rest I’ve bought on here before.

Bestter magnets than the ones that came with my stir plate and my heating/stirring manual. My favorite one is the tiny one, it works very well even in extremely thick material! The box is really great, absolutely perfect for keeping the magnets separated, and keeps everything nice and neat! I already had a longer magnetic wand when I bought this, and it seems to work well, so I haven’t really used the magnetic wand that cane with this set yet. I would highly recommend this product! 5

It arrived early with everything as described! All the stir bars work great and I love that this set comes with a magnetic stir bar retriever, The sterile, reusable packaging is convenient and easy to use for storage and the manual is very helpful. I would highly recommend this product and plan use them in all our labs.

Definitely a good buy, it's the best magnetic stir bar kit I have ever bought, great design with the reusable box, helpful manual, and strong magnetics. I like that it comes with a magnetic retriever too. Highly Recommended.

This stir bar kit is by far the best one I have tried! The retrieval tool is incredibly strong which made is so much easier than previous kits, as well as the quality is amazing for the price!

The stir bars themselves are fairly good for the price, and stir well on my Corning hot plate without jumping around. The stir bar retriever is pretty weak though- it could not pull the two largest stir bars out of a beaker. The third and fourth largest stir bars could be removed with the stir bar wand about 60% of the time, but again, not very reliable. The plastic box they come in was broken when it arrived. If you're looking for a good variety of stir bars, for the price, I'd have to recommend this kit. But don't get this kit for the stir bar retriever- it's quite weak.

This comes with a great variety of sizes. They are made well and work well.
