But I know how beautiful it can be when older. The bottom bud has developed a ginkgo leaf. That is encouraging. Part of the leaf has been eaten by something though. I bring it in at night until I can wrap a copper sleeve around the pot for protection. My little tree will remain in containers since there is no yard here were we live.
