Garage floor looks great.
We ordered two kits for our garage floor to be sure we had enough and we ordered extra chips. The floor looks great. My nieces and nephew use our garage as a play room to romp in and we wanted the floor to look nice. The product was easy to use and we love the clean floor. As with any application of this kind the prep is the most important step in the process. Our garage is 30 years old and was stained. My husband rented a diamond grinder and went over the entire floor with it. That remove the surface stains and smoothed out the concrete where we repaired chips in the floor. We'd use this product again.

Great Product
The chips really enhanced the look of my epoxy floor in my basement. It was great having the option to purchase more outside of those in the epoxy kit, as I was a bit heavy handed!

Works great
My basment floor never looked so good. I did a lot of prep including grinding the floor with a machine i rented from Home Depot and I couldn't be happier with the results. I used three gallons, color was consistent throughout and it went down easy and the result was a very durable coating that should last for years.

Looks great...for about a month.
Do yourself a favor and spring for the professional, %100 solid epoxy. This stuff looks great after it goes on, but the gloss last about a month. The decorative chips then start coming up gradually over the next few months. Finally, it will start to peel. This was after tedious prep, including a walk-behind grinder and several hours of power-washing. I'm sure it would last longer with the clear-coat rolled on later. But at that point you're up to about $250. The pro stuff can be bought for about twice that and lasts forever.

Good luck!
Unless you have a lot of artist in you, applying these evenly is a chore. I kept throwing them up in the air to get them evenly spaced until I used 3 times more than I should have. No fault of the chips, but applying them is an art.....not a science.

I am well pleased with their look on my floor
I was surprised to see so many chips in one package and some of them so small. I am well pleased with their look on my floor. They cover up a multitude of sins (small bits of dirt) that get on my floor occasionally! I am well pleased. Mary Frank

Not what I thought.
Just beware - these are not to be used with the countertop paint. These are bigger and are more intended for garage floors.

More Than Just For Looks - SAFETY
Very nice to have an extra bag of chips as I personally like to have more than less. Not only do they hide imperfections in the concrete, but they also help the floor from becoming slippery when wet. This is a MUCH bigger issue than most people realize, especially if you include the High Gloss Clear after the color. Make sure the same person applies the chips; don't try and have two people do it. It WON'T Match! Speaking of which, highly recommend you toss the chips slightly in the air to help them distribute evenly. Tossing directly at an area will create a thick section. I have now done 6 garage floors and every one has come out exactly or better than expected with the Rust Oleum SOLVENT Based Epoxy, and their extra chips. PREP is KEY. It is not fun, takes long, and tedious, BUT no product will work if the Prep Work is not done properly. So dont blame the manufacturer if you don't take the time to do it right Back to this review... Do yourself a favor and add in extra chips to ensure a Good Looking, SAFE garage floor. Cheers!
