Winner of the 2012 Backpacker Editors' Choice award, the Lost Coast is a cleanly designed, highly technical pack for backcountry adventures. The sleek look and functional features of the Lost Coast pack make it extremely versatile and efficient for multiday backpacking treks or quick day trips. The use of unique ribcage construction allowed us to use lightweight fabrics for the pack body that can maintain structure under load. A special molded, perforated EVA Z-foam back panel increases airflow and comfort while hauling gear. The top lid has dual overlapping external zippered pockets with an internal mesh zippered pocket for organizing your loose gear and essentials. The 5-liter top lid can be removed to allow for more lightweight, minimalist backpacking. Dual side compression straps keep your load secure while hidden daisy chain rows enable extra gear attachment ability and tuck conveniently away when not in use. Features: - Ribcage construction for strength and weight efficiency - a removable pocketed top lid - Dual hidden daisy chain rows and gear loops - Hidden daisy chains on padded shoulder straps - Easy access single hand use zippered stretch pockets on the padded hip belt - Adjustable sternum straps with emergency whistle - Full-face front stretch-fabric pocket with welding tape reinforcement - Front drainage point at front stretch pocket - Two stretch-fabric side pockets can accommodate water bottles and miscellaneous gear - Dual hydration ports with hydration sleeve and bladder hanging clip - Molded, perforated Z-foam back panel and removable aluminum frame and PE sheet suspension - Fabric: Most of the body is made out of lightweight yet strong nylon material (Nylon 210D Ripstop).
