This crème is outstanding, found it looking for something to help with bike riding rashes. Works great!

On long rides, comfort isn’t optional, and this cream does exactly what it promises without fuss or theatrics. It goes on smoothly, isn’t greasy, washes out easily, and—most importantly—prevents problems before they start. Hours into a ride, when focus drifts and form fades, it’s quietly doing its job. There’s no overpowering scent, no sticky residue, and no drama. Just consistent protection that lets you stay in the saddle longer and think about literally anything else. If you ride far enough, you stop joking about products like this—and start recommending them. Bottom line: The name may raise eyebrows, but this is a genuinely essential piece of endurance kit. Practical, effective, and deserving of a permanent place in any cyclist’s drawer. Highly recommended—for obvious reasons.

I find this product quite effective. I enjoy how the cream is easily dispensed from the squeeze tube instead of a bowl, and that it easily washes off my hands and shorts. I do find that I need to apply additional cream for rides longer than 60 miles. After using this product for nearly 13,000 miles of bicycle tour riding with no saddle sores, I am quite hooked on it 😊. Prior to this I was using the Assos cream (which is also a wonderful product) but I don’t like the non-compressible bowl that product comes in.

A staple for any serious cyclist, and this stuff earns its reputation. I’ve been using it for gravel riding including long training rides in the 50–80 mile range building toward a 100k race, and it holds up reliably from mile one to the finish. The consistency is thicker than some alternatives, which means it doesn’t migrate or disappear halfway through a hot ride. No weird residue in kit, and it rinses clean. Not much to say beyond: if you’re doing long miles, you just need this. The 8oz tub lasts a surprisingly long time if you’re applying correctly. Would buy again without hesitation.

I originally discovered Chamois Butt'r when I was into bicycling, and although I no longer bicycle, I still find it to be a great way to prevent chafing from legs rubbing together! Some examples of when I've found it useful is going on extended hikes or walks, as well as while running. With a relatively small amount on both legs, I'm able to avoid chafing that would otherwise cause pain for days. I find that for an all-day hike, I may have to re-apply it around once. For shorter duration activities, a single application at the start is sufficient. Giving it four stars because the product works great, though it does leave a bit of a sticky residue on my hand after applying it - slightly annoying if re-applying out in the field! Wiping it on a cloth can help some with that.

I went back and forth whether or not to buy this. I had been using cheap alternatives to prevent chafing and they just weren't cutting it. So, I decided to bite the bullet and try this. I've used this for a solid month now, which means about 400 miles, and so far, I am beyond happy with the results. You don't have to use a lot, just a little dab and that dab will go a long way. Since I've been using it, I have had no issues whatsoever with chafing. Surprisingly so, to me. I was expecting that there would be some period of figuring out where I had missed or that I needed to use more, but not at all. Like I said, the little dab goes a long way and makes for a way more comfortable ride than I was having before. Great product and totally worth it.

Great protection. No weird odor.

I’ll be honest, when if first started doing longer rides on my road bike, and also the turbo trainer, I didn’t use chamois cream. What a muppet I was! This stuff is amazing and I cannot see myself using any other product. I don’t get any irritation (which was a big worry when I first tried it), showers off your intimate area easily after a ride, and it washes out of cycling shorts really well, of which is a relief!

Works and buying in bulk saves $$$. Just a reminder to those thinking it comes with a pump. There is no pump. It’s a pump bottle thus you thread on something that works for you. I personally refill a small screw of top hand cream jar. Cheers.

It really worked for me, no more pain due to rubbing and seat. First I used a little more then it goes to everywhere. Then I used a little, size of pea, then great, no mess and no friction and pain
