They work well, and don't stay sharp for too long, but I am cutting hard wood. For the money, these are worth it. If they were more expensive, I would opt for the stihl chains that I buy instead. I have a husqvarna, but like the stihl chains better as they keep their teeth longer. For just having a bunch of chains that are cheap and I can sharpen them and just change them instead of sharpening them on the job, I like these. I don't mind if one gets damaged either.
