See It and Say It In Spanish uses two different methods to help you learn Spanish: The first method is called “The Word and Picture Method”: With this method, the author includes a drawing every time she introduces a new word or sentence. This is a very effective technique because the images help to reinforce the Spanish that you’re learning. The second method is called “Ready Made Vocabulary.”: The idea of this method is to enable you to start speaking Spanish immediately by introducing Spanish vocabulary words that that look like their English counterparts. The author wrote this book with both the student and the Spanish teacher in mind. For the student, she has included helpful tips on the best way to use this book. For example, she mentions that it is not necessary to start at the very beginning of the book and that it’s not necessary to read the book in sequence. You can start wherever you wish. For the Spanish teacher, she gives helpful advice on how to use this book when a Spanish teacher is preparing his or her lesson plan or homework assignments. I think everyone, both students and Spanish teachers, will find the “Traveler’s Handy Word Guide” section to be very helpful. In this section, the author has made a list of the most commonly used Spanish words and phrases for tourists. By the way, if you are interested in learning some other foreign languages using the same teaching methods found in See It and Say It In Spanish, the same book publishing company also has the following books: See It and Say It In Italian See It and Say It In French See It and Say It In German In closing, I want to leave you with a list of my favorite three learn-Spanish products available here at desertcart: 1. Easy Spanish Phrase Book NEW EDITION: Over 700 Phrases for Everyday Use (Dover Language Guides Spanish) . Easy Spanish Phrase Book. This is an economically priced, handy resource that easily fits into my back pocket. You can conveniently take it anywhere with you when vacationing in a Spanish speaking country in order to have more than 700 phrases in your Spanish-vocabulary arsenal. And unlike so many learning-Spanish books, there is also a section called "Computers and Technology" where you'll find Spanish vocabulary related to modern technology. 2. Learning Spanish Like Crazy Level 1 CDR - w/ Super Bonus Package - Learn Spanish & Speak Spanish - New & Improved for PC/Mac - Free Updates for 1 Yr LSLC - This is my favorite audio Spanish program because the program focuses on everyday, Latin American Spanish. It's geared toward the foreign-language learner who wants to eventually achieve fluency in Spanish instead of someone who just wants to learn a few travel phrases. Compared to the other programs that I have used, this one does the best job at teaching you how to develop an authentic sounding Latin American Spanish accent. The program also comes with a very impressive bonus package. 3. 501 Spanish Verbs with CD-ROM and Audio CD (501 Verb Series) 501 Spanish Verbs - If you think you can accomplish fluency in Spanish as an adult without mastering conjugating Spanish verbs, you are only fooling yourself. Helpful for Beginners
This little book is great for beginners, and would also be good for a child. It is basic, simple, easy to follow, and pretty comprehensive. I am currently taking an audio course in Spanish, and this book adds a visual dimension that I obviously don’t get with audio, providing another channel of reinforcement. It contains a pronunciation guide that explains how to pronounce letters that deviate from how they are pronounced in English. A “handy word guide” is included which provides vocabulary and simple phrases used in common situations. It also lists in Spanish: numbers, days of week, months of year, seasons, family members, colors, and body parts, all good to know. It then goes into a “grammar” section where “ar”, “er”, and “ir” verbs are explored, including how to use the verb with different pronouns, and different tenses. If you study these long enough, you will notice the pattern and begin to apply the principles on your own with other verbs. Finally, there is a Spanish-English vocabulary section which makes for a handy reference. The book is a good place to start for those with no background in Spanish, or as a brush-up for those who may have studied Spanish at one time, but have forgotten most of it.

Buy It!
I purchased this book with my own money and this is an honest review that I hope can help someone make a decision to purchase it. It is a small book about 7x5 in. So it's almost pocket sized. I was looking for something pocket sized. I would say also that it definitely is for beginners but goes head first right in. Also I love Margarita Madrigal way of teaching. Try also, Madrigals Magic Key to Spanish. Its a more in depth of this way of teaching if after reading this you feel you need a bit more. Which you will. I read that one first but you could go either way. I wish i had read this one first. However, the information is in my opinion better than textbook. That might just be because I've read many textbook typed books. This book packs so much punch in such a small book. It was fun and enjoyable. I was able to get through half the book in one night (maybe 3 hrs) but I'm also a slow reader. The book cuts out all the paragraphed readings that explain way too much into why the conjugations and prepositions. It just gives you the conjugations and prepositions with a small reason behind it but inforces it with a ton of practice right in the pages. It gives tenses as well. No need to run to the back for an answer key it's on the same page or the next. Nevermind that the pictures look old, it really has no bearing on the information but can definitely help with learning to match pictures to words for you when you want to be fluent without translating in your head. Meaning it does its job and purpose. If you're thinking about it, get the book. It's not expensive and well worth it. I could go on talking about this book but just try it. You have everything to gain from it and nothing at all to lose.

love this book , deceptively simple idea but the genuis is in the choice of what is important for you to know.. really does cover a lot for such a small book and with a bit of thought you can expand apon it yourself .. the book does a much better job than several more elaborate and expensive courses which lack the clarity. very good for a quick start and good memory aid..doesn't always give in depth explanation of grammer etc which you might want to look deeper into, but personally i would not fault it for that, i'd like to say its light and easy to follow and use without giving the impression that its lightweight very useful book ..wish i had an equivalent for the other languages i study..
