I had been buying the big value size $49 Smashbox Photo Finish primers for a couple years now and decided to try something cheaper that was also silicone-based. This primer is not as thick as the Smashbox one, it’s a tiny bit more watery but it definitely does the job. It mattifies my skin and fills in my pores (I have large pores:() I wouldn’t say it’s an exact dupe as the Smashbox one seems to control my oil build up more. But it’s close enough and definitely worth trying. It holds my makeup in place and all I have to do is blot my face once about 5-6 hours after I first applied my makeup and I’m good. It definitely holds my foundation and fills my pores.

I used the Clinique universal primer until they discontinued it and the reviews for the replacement were horrible. After reading about this primer, I decided to try it. This one is WAY better than the old Clinique one and much less expensive. This primer goes on easily and leaves your skin with a silky finish that makes makeup easy to apply. So far, it seems to set the makeup for a lasting finish.

LADIES if you're looking for a primer look no further. This primer is THEE BEST! I've tried Setting powder. It showed up every tiny little crease and wrinkle. Especially under my eyes. Who wants that??😫 PLUS when I applied my mascara (didn't matter if I waited about 15 minutes before applying foundation or used many many different mascaras) my mascara would leave little black spots under my eyes. Little mascara tracks. Raccoon eyes. I could walk in a store and see myself and BAM. A Raccoon starting back at me 😝. NYX STUDIO PERFECT is just that ... PERFECT 😁 NO mascara tracks. No Raccoon eyes. I've waited a few days to write this review so I could use different mascaras thinking - either I found the PERFECT product or is just a combination of NYX and certain mascara. NOPE It's NYX for sure. I can even nap with a full face of makeup on and wake up and look like it's freshly put on. PLUS it doesn't accentuate any small lines under my eyes. If you're hesitating, just get this miracle in the black bottle. You'll be very happy as I am. P.s. I'm going to visit my bf for three months and I'm buying enough bottles to hold me over. Not sure if his country carries this. Sure as hell not taking any chanceS!!🙂

I'm a makeup lover and I've tried many many brands of primers. I have a few favorites but Smashbox Photofinish primer was, hands down, my #1 go to. I was running low and didn't want to spend 60 bucks, at the time to restock. So I did a little research to find an affordable dupe for the time being and this was the top recommendation. I don't want to over sell it but, I'm not going back to smashbox. This was definately worth the hype. My make up lasted even longer! Even in Georgia summer heat, even the blush and bronzer lasts all day snd we all know how that's always the first to go. When I get home from work in the evening, my makeup looks as flawless as it did when I put it on that morning. I'd highly recommend this product.

I have oily skin. I have issues with foundation "melting" or breaking up on my skin. I've tried applying this clear primer a couple ways. First I tried fingers and then a brush. Both application methods resulted in way too much product on my skin and I had so much oil those days. Then I applied with a damp sponge : EmaxDesign 3 Pieces Makeup Blender Sponge Set, Foundation Blending Blush Concealer Eye Face Powder Cream Cosmetics Beauty Make up Sponges. latex free, non-allergenic and odour free . I used only a pea sized amount for my whole face and got a lovely matte finish. I also noticed that my laugh line by my mouth stayed covered with foundation. Normally I have to touch that up when checking mid-day. Overall, I am pleased with the staying power of multiple products combined. I am using Neutrogena Shine Control Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum Spf 20, Classic Ivory 10, 1 Oz. (which uses rice powder to absorb oil, it feels gritty to finger tips, but if applied with a damp sponge, applies smooth and fills pores). I set my foundation with NYX Cosmetics Blotting Powder, Light/Medium, 0.29 Ounce to get a superb finish. All of these work together so well. I also use a liquid concealer which is also from NYX : NYX Cosmetics Concealer Wand, Fair, 0.11-Ounce . It's taken me a while to find drug store level products that work well for my oily skin, but I am enjoying my current routine. Even though this primer feels silky to touch, I get a matte finish with my application method. Thankful I decided to try this primer!

Dépose un film soyeux, effet peau de pêche, très agréable au toucher ! Selon moi, pour un effet optimal il ne faut pas trop l'étendre et l'appliquer en tapotant par zone (inutile d'en mettre sur tout le visage si ce ne sont que les ailes du nez qui en ont besoin par ex). Apparemment non comédogène. Très bon produit.

Il primer Studio Perfect di NYX Professional Makeup è diventato un must-have nella mia routine di trucco. Questa base è semplicemente incredibile.
