Bearings feel silky smooth and the finish on the pedals is first class. The platforms are clearly marked "left" and "right" for easy installation. The edge of each platform is beveled to make flipping the pedal easier. I will post a follow up review once I put some miles on them. As for right now, I'm blown away by how nice these pedals are for the price.follow up after using these pedals:Unfortunately these pedals are lacking when it comes to off road use. The traction pins are too short to provide a solid grip between pedal and shoe. For a serious mtb pedal look elsewhere. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Replacement Pins Are Good Quality but a Bit Pricey *by C***M on August 30, 2018* [Please note: This review is only about the replacement pins themselves.] The replacement pins are steel and M4 thread size and do the job nicely if you need basic pin replacements. However, they don't seem to me to be a great value anymore. I paid $7.98 on Amazon for the 24 pin set on 8/27/18 and thought that was pushing the price/value ratio to the upper limit. Today, just a few days later as I write this review (8/30/18) they're now $9.98 on Amazon and definitely overpriced considering you can get a set of 40-50 pins of different makes WITH A TOOL from Worldwide Cyclery for $14-$16... shipping included. I didn't order from W.C. because I felt it was less risky to try out 24 pins first. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They don't spin freely and make loose bearing noise which is a good thing.
