Once I became aware that dragons do, and always have existed (thanks Rachel Fiori), I immediately began searching dragon movies with my kids. Eragon popped up and I fell in love with Saphira’s voice and beauty as well as cutie actors Eragon and Murtagh. When the movie ended leaving a teaser for the next installment, I searched for it to no avail. Why wasn’t there another movie made? Perhaps the one made was a little too real? I started researching more and found that the genius behind it all was really an author! That got me excited!!! So I ordered this set and marveled at its beauty when I unboxed it. It’s an attractive set to say the least! Now I am almost thru the first book and am forgoing all of my “chores” on most days and nights to sit down and read! While the book is hardly portrayed in the movies correctly (as per usual thanks to Hollywoods need to Dramatize everything exponentially), I am utterly fascinated by this book and the realism of the ancient language and the dragon/human interactions. There are also fairies and elves in the book and the use of magic on a deep and detailed level. I feel that this book basically could be non-fiction (my opinion only, of course) and to me this makes it so exciting!!! I am imagining the day I will meet a dragon and the knowledge from this book I feel is invaluable for when that day comes! THANK YOU Christopher Paolini for your bravery in writing and publishing these books… I know the “powers that be” AKA our own Galbatorix and Empire here in 2026 do not want us common folk to be armed with knowledge and they will stop at nothing to make that so. It’s folks like you who contain the bravery and lead the charge on taking down the system for good!!!

I saw the movie and liked it. Saw this package of books at a great price annd gave it a shot. About to finish 2nd book. Great story and read. Plus very good artwork on case and book covers. Books are a good size (bigger than typical paperbacks) and very readable for my older eyes. Highly recommend

I ordered this set for my husband’s birthday. We were huge fans when we were kids! These are such an awesome gift for a younger and a well versed reader alike. No matter how old I get, I will always love these books. The writing is clear and concise, simplistic yet descriptive. Great world building and just the right balance of action and emotional damage. The story progresses at a nice even pace and gives you plenty of time to figure out which characters you love and which ones you hate. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed The Inheritance Cycle, but it’s not without its flaws. The world-building is fantastic, and if you love dragons, magic, and epic adventures, there’s a lot to appreciate here. Eragon’s journey from farm boy to Dragon Rider is a classic underdog story, and the lore of Alagaësia feels rich and well thought out. That said, the series has some pacing issues, especially in the later books where things drag a bit. The first book leans pretty heavily into familiar fantasy tropes, which can make it feel a little predictable at times. But as the series goes on, Paolini’s writing improves, and the characters become more compelling. Overall, it’s a solid fantasy series that’s worth reading if you enjoy coming-of-age stories with dragons and epic battles. It might not be the most groundbreaking fantasy out there, but it’s still a really fun ride.

Bought them with a coupon and they came out to be a really good value. No damage on arrival. Looking forward to reading something I have been wanting to for years.

For a long time I'd been wanting a hardback collection of this series that still had the original cover arts for them all and I'm very happy to finally have them, I've seen reviews from other people claiming that they're low quality or that some stuff doesn't quite line up but that's not the case with mine they're absolutely perfect.

The books are very good to read especially for those who are new to fantasy. The book has a very quality hard cover, and the complete set is manufacture and imported from the US. Those who want to read the fantasy from a fresh manner should definitely go for this.

Œuvre de fantasy de très bonne qualité, d'autant plus lorsque l'on prend en compte le fait que l'auteur avait 15 ans en débutant l'écriture du premier livre. Contrairement à certaines saga qui durent bien trop longtemps, l'histoire est ici très bien encapsulée en 4 livres. Les personnages sont plutôt attachants et l'univers bien décrit et cohérent.
