Good price and perfect quality

This is a great little docking station and does everything it advertises to do. I was looking for a way to dock my MacBook vertically to open up deskspace (with two large monitors). I settled on this product based on the reviews and the price point. There are several more expensive products, but I found most only offered slightly more port options. This was a great combination of a large number of HDMI, USB, and other ports that I needed. The only downside is that there are port options on both long sides of the docking station (see pictures). For some setups, this may not be an issue. For my setup against the wall, to access the ports on the wall sid,e I need to pull the docking station away from the wall to allow for the cables. It's not a deal breaker (clearly, I bought it), but it's something to consider for your setup. Setup and installation were simple: plug and play. The docking station is sturdy and holds my 16" MacBook Pro easily. It is also very easy to take the laptop out of the docking station. Note: It does NOT hold the laptop securely in the station. It acts more like a bookend with your laptop leaning in between. The unit is heavy-ish and feels like a solid piece of equipment, even when empty. The bottom has a rubberized material to help avoid sliding and cushions the docking station and the entire setup. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. I do not have a solution for the ports on both sides besides making it twice as long, which defeats the purpose of the compact size.

Apple's minimalist design philosophy, while elegant, often comes at the expense of ports. Pros: * Versatile Connectivity: The combination of Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.0 ports, and the SD/TF card reader covers most of my everyday connectivity needs. * Compact and Portable: Its small size makes it easy to carry in my laptop bag, and it doesn't add much bulk to my workspace. * Fast Data Transfer: The Thunderbolt 3 port provides blazing-fast data transfer speeds, making it ideal for demanding tasks like video editing. Cons: * Can Get Warm: I noticed that the hub can get slightly warm during extended use with multiple devices connected. * Limited Power Delivery: While it supports pass-through charging, the power delivery capabilities may not be sufficient for high-power devices. Overall: The RayCue USB-C hub is a well-designed and functional solution for expanding the connectivity of your MacBook. Its compact size, versatile port selection, and fast data transfer speeds make it a valuable addition to any MacBook user's toolkit. This adapter is super helpful and works well with my mac. My only grievance is that it doesn't work if you have a case on the bottom half of your mac, the usb c inputs don't "reach" because the case blocks it. Otherwise, works well for my mouse with a bluetooth usb A input as well as charging.

The built quality of this product is great. I use it with my MAC Pro M3-MAX (2024 version). This product did not work for a 49" Samsung curved monitor. Actually, it worked for a few minutes and then stopped working. However, my main purpose in getting this product was to use it in my office with Dual 27-inch Dell monitors. And it works like a charm for my dual monitors. Absolutely zero issues. It only works with HDMI connections. I wish it worked with dpi cables as well. I believe it is the only thing missing. However, it does not bother me at all. It uses both USB-C connections. For the price I paid, I firmly believe that it is worth it.

Originally bought this for my 2020 Intel Macbook Pro and it worked like a dream for over a year! Recently bought an M4 Macbook Air and was pleasantly surprised to find that this works for my new computer as well. Given the price of docking stations, this is the best deal you’ll find if you are looking to connect to an M4 Macbook. I love the ability to fold my computer shut and clear my desk space, but I can also have my computer open if needed for video meetings. Very heavy and feels very well made. I’ve used this almost daily for over a year and have not had any issues.

I was attracted to this product because it plugs directly into the macbook without a cable. That way it's more convenient and it's especially useful when the macbook is docked so that peripherals can plug into the macbook instead of into a hub that's dangling from the macbook.

It started out as a good bang for your buck type of dock. It has everything I was looking for in a clamshell dock for my MacBook Pro M3 Pro chip. I was able to use dual monitors without trouble…at first. Then I had issues with one of the monitors would constantly cycle on/off. Had to adjust hertz settings to make it be stable again. Then the 3.5mm jack stopped working well, often causing feedback or not being recognized by the the laptop. The final straw was when I couldn’t use my laptop in clamshell mode with it anymore. I ended up buying an iVANKY instead. The RayCue lasted a little over a year of near daily use. Let’s see how the other brand holds up. Beyond that the construction is good. It’s got some heft to it to stay in place. I like that it has rubber grommets where it rests in the dock, but I wish there was more rubber just in case.

With multiple slots and variety of connections, it simplified my file organization of my external hard drives.

This product is not suitable for everything. Sometimes it does not work as required. There are only two or three inputs that work together. When you put something else on it, it disconnects all devices from it.
