I've been using this for a couple of weeks and it has been the answer to my dilemma of where can I put a pull-up bar? We happen to have an I-beam exposed in our basement and I have looked for something like this but it wasn't available. I'm not a handy person so fabricating something on my own wasn't going to happen. I was concerned about the sturdiness of the clamp so I emailed the manufacturer and they responded the same day, within a couple of hours actually. They reassured me that once the bolts were all tight the clamp would be secure and they were telling the truth. I have not needed to re-tighten any bolts.
