Save Hundreds
Electrician quotes me $250 service call, plus $90 for this part. Me: watches YouTube video, purchases part himself, replaces for a total bill of $36. Saving $310 and telling electrician to keep his quote. Good luck, don't be afraid to cut off the power yourself. It's easy. Wear gloves. Be smart. You got this!

Its a breaker and it works!?!? What more can I say!
Its a breaker and it works!?!? What more can I say, I do know to keep an eye on the price. Amazon has some very good prices on AFCI and GFCI breakers for the Siemens panels you just have to keep an eye on them you can usually beat the price and any local store by a mile!

Arc faults are a great idea but keep tripping
Works great but I still had a problem with the arc fault tripping. I took this out and switch to a manual breaker.

CAFCI breakers are expensive but there is peace of mind knowing arcs won't start a fire.
When I opened up a part of my wall I discovered mice had chewed some wiring. While I replaced that wiring I am relieved to know that now I have arc fault protection on all of my wiring.
