So I thought a knock-off caddy would be ok. I was right. This one even has more pockets than the Ikea one. slightly less sturdy than the Ikea caddy but it's good enough to just hang out between your mattresses which is what this one is doing. I even bought a spare one so that I could take with me when I travel. The velcro on the piece that is supposed to go under mattress does not stick my box spring, but the pressure of the mattress keeps it in place. Whenever I change the sheets on the mattress, the caddy falls down which is an easy enough fix albeit inconvenient.I think this caddy can hold a journal and maybe one or two small, thin books before it starts gaping outwards and appearing very "thick" on the side of the bed.It's better than nothing and if you don't care what it looks like and want something low cost, this would work for you.
