Installation is fairly straightforward providing you have some skills with tools and measuring. But don’t let that stop you! GET THESE SHOCKS ON YOUR TRAILER! After installing them I towed my trailer for 1700 miles on good roads and bad, over passes, speeds up to 80 mph. The difference was truly amazing. My trailer never felt as solid and steady on the road! I think for safety sake they ought to be REQUIRED. I’m serious.

Great product. Instructions were simple enough. I didn't have to take my tire off to complete the install. It only makes it easier. Lifted the toy hauler slightly with a 3 ton jack to finish mounting the brackets using the recommendation of a 12" - 5/16 drill bit. Install took about 4 hrs total. After the install, I went for a ride down roads with bumps that were passed before. The difference is worth every penny spent. Thinking that I would have to switch to a turnover ball configuration and loose my slide with the kingpin hitch while backing into tight areas is in the past now. Not saying the bucking is completely gone but on a scale of 1 to 10 on the difference is a 9. (42.5ft toy hauler, RAM 2500 megacab)

Well built shock kit, all of the brackets are very heavy duty. I am very pleased with the quality. Drilling the 16 holes in the frame is difficult. You will need a 12 inch long 5/16 drill bit, I purchased the bit at Lowe’s. The reason for the long bit is to allow you to work around the axles and springs. I made a drill temple out of a piece of steel, this allowed me to drill all four holes for one bracket in the proper location. I had to do this because you can not get a transfer punch in the tight work area. Adding the shocks to my 5th wheel was a good investment.

We bought this for our camper with a rear kitchen layout. We were trying to avoid a lot of the bounce in our cabinets. My husband installed them and they seemed to helped with things falling off the couch. Normally when we would arrive pillows and the dog bed would be on the floor. That hasn't happened since he installed them.

Mounted this kit on a 2018 Keystone Alpine. Install was fairly easy with minimal tools. I would have given this kit five stars if it had come with new longer U-bolts. But overall was a good investment. Trailer seems to ride smoother with less bucking.

My 5th wheel rides like a dream now,,,, so easy to pull and inside of trailer is not getting banged up anymore. I noticed that the Microwave glass tray does not move out of place after a long drive which tells me that the inside is not getting trashed anymore. I had a question for Roadmaster customer service so I sent an email and I got a response within 15 minutes,,,,, customer service is incredible!! Kit is well made an packaged extremely well! If you own a 5th wheel this kit is a no brainer!!

Sadly, this item did not fit my trailer which is a 7x12 Stealth Cobra. From the manufacturer's website all looked good, but in installing it, could not get it to fit properly when following the provided instructions. Learned after talking with the manufacturer that this product would not fit. Unfortunately, by the time this was all figured out it was outside of the return window of 30 days, and I am left without a product I can use.

The only issue I had was needing longer ubolts, and none of the part stores had what I needed so I had to order and wait. No fault of the product, I upgraded to 8k from 7k and the springs are a bit thicker. Ride is improved. I recommend this upgrade from stock if you put a lot of miles on your RV.

I finished installing this Roadmaster shock kit yesterday. Seems to perform well based on a short road test. Couple of comments for future potential buyers: 1) The box that the parts shipped in is insufficient for the weight of the parts. Mine blew apart on the shipper (DHL) who had to repackage everything before delivery causing delays. 2) The upper shock mount top plate is 3" wide and is designed for RVs with wide support/frame beams. My application is tandem axle deck-over trailer built with a C-channel frame that is only 1 1/2" wide which only allowed 2 of the 4 mounting screws to be attached. So, I chose to throw the screws away and securely weld the top plates on and with an additional bracket to brace the plate to the frame and stop potential flexing. 3) The drop bars for the lower shock mount are stout but are only held with two screws per bar. I thought they might loosen over time so chose to stick weld them to the main bracket saddle that sits on top of the spring.

Perfect suspension upgrade. I installed on a 32ft fifth wheel. The improvement is noticeable immediately. I travel on a lot of rough back roads and items in my trailer are always out of place upon arrival. After installing these, everything is in its spot after travel. Install isn't difficult if you have the tools and jacks/ jackstands. I installed these myself in an afternoon.

Smooths out the ride. Install isn’t for everyone though.
