SmartSpace Baby Bottle Brush

I don't know if I speak for myself or for other parents out there but as a parent, when you find an item that is a "game changer", you get so excited like a kid when they get toys. The reason why I say this is because I used to own a lot of bottle brushes that WOULD NOT last. For example, I owned several Parent Choice bottle brushes. While the brush itself would last quite some time, the nipple brush would not. Those who owned Parent Choice bottle brushes before, know what I am talking about. I love parent choice products. I do. I do not want to talk down about them because mostly everything that I have purchased by Parent Choice is a great item. But, for those parents that had an encounter with the Parent Choice bottle brushes, we know that those brushes, especially the nipple brush, do not last for a very long time. Soooo, I decided to do some research on a new bottle brush and came upon this Playtex SmartSpace baby bottle brush and I can honestly say that this has made me so excited as a parent. 1. The bottle brush is very unique: it comes off in two different parts; the bottle brush and the nipple brush. I travel from my house to my sister's house all the time and I like to bring my son's bottle brush. Being able to separate the bottle brush allows me to place it in the baby bag without taking up room. 2. Instead of pulling the nipple brush out and popping it back into place, you actually screw it back on that way when you're washing your bottles, it doesn't come off in the middle of you washing them (that was a problem I had with Parent Choice bottle brushes; the nipple brush would pop out while washing the bottles). 3. Another detail that I love about this bottle brush is the nipple brush. If you notice on the picture I shared, the bristles on Parent Choice nipple brush (picture on the left side), are placed on metal. It is easily bendable and the bristles tend to stay stuck in place. Many times, the metal has come apart from the plastic. With this Playtex brush, the bristles of nipple brush are on hard plastic so you don't have to worry about it bending on you while you're cleaning the nipples. You can get rough with it ladies and gents when watching your bottles! 4. Another feature that I like is that the nipple brush is thick. It makes it much more durable. And, it covers the top of the nipple completely. On another note, I did notice that upon washing the brushes, the bottle brush is a bit stiff. I was having a bit of difficulties trying to put the brush inside the Parent Choice bottles I use (I also use Dr. Brown bottles; I have 9 Dr. Brown bottles; I am not that cheap okay? Lol) But the stiffness of the brush is okay because it's a brand new brush so I know it has to get used to its owner you know? But I love it so far. I love that it's very functional it cleans my bottles well. I noticed that a lot of you customers put reviews complaining about the nipple brush getting mold. Let me tell you something. I understand that many of you want to store the brush inside of it's compartment because yea, that is what you are supposed to think. You might think that because there is a hole, the nipple brush is going to dry. But you have to also be aware that it MIGHT NOT dry. You have to take precautions. Here's a tip: why not wait for the nipple brush to dry and THEN, once it is dry, you put the nipple brush back in its compartment? It's not rocket science. I know many of us have to visit the kitchen regularly so it shouldn't be hard work. Wash the bottles, let the brushes dry, watch a movie, do some errands, then when you go the kitchen for a snack, put the nipple brush in its compartment. Ta Da! People like to make a big deal over something so small. You won't get any older waiting for the brush to dry. What's more important is the QUALITY of the brush and so far, I am impressed. You rock Playtex! I will be updating the review once I get more use of of the brush.

This is by far the best baby bottle brush I have used. It is much more sturdy than the cheap wire kind. I had been using the Avent one, which I thought was fine, but now that I tried this one that I recieved at my shower a few months ago, I threw away my avent ones and ordered 2 more of these from Amazon. The brush is packed with lots of bristles which cover every direction, even the way they are angled towards the top of the brush to get the dried milk in the bottom. They also do not seem to scratch the bottles which is nice.I also like how at the base of the brush the bristles are a bit longer to really get under the lip of the bottle. The tiny nipple brush is packed with brushes too so no scrubbing and digging around in the nipple risking puncturing it. There is also holes on the sides of the handle to allow the nipple brush to dry when you replace it, as not to keep moisture in and becoming a breeding ground for bacteria. The handle also has a rubber grip, so no slipping with wet hands. They really thought of everything for this brush. BONUS- Its perfect for cleaning breast pump parts as well! The nipple brush gets in all the little areas of the connectors as well as thoroughly cleaning the duckbill's. Highly recommended!

I have went through a lot of baby bottle brushes. I mean, like a lot. I've had OXO, Dr. Brown's, Munchkin with and without the sponge. This is by far the best brush. The bristles on top are angled in a way that you're able to easily clean the bottom edge of the bottle without having to push the brush into them. It's sort of like the sponge-topped brush without the hygiene issue. Also, the nipple brush included is fantastic! All the other similar included brushes are thin or silicone, which I find doesn't clean well. This one is a thick bristle brush that fits into my pump parts and cleans them well. Which is awesome, because the mini U shaped detail brushes always break on me. This brush is awesome, and I've already bought another two to store. Highly recommend!

I love both of these brushes. I never knew before I had a baby how precious a household cleaning product would be to me, but if I could hug the two of these brushes and tell them how much I love them, I would. The bottle brush is shaped perfectly to get the inner ridges on my Playtex ventaire bottles and the nipple brush is the greatest cleaning tool ever created. It fits perfectly inside the nipples and does a great job cleaning the outside, too. It is soft and hasn't damaged any of my bottles or nipples. Formula is a little gross and can leave a greasy sort of residue in the bottles and nipples. These, a little soap, and hot water and your bottles and nipples will be as good as new. I would recommend this set to all new AND been there, done that parents!

I am in love with this bottle brush! It's everything I was expecting it to be! Soft, sturdy and cleans bottles well. What I really purchased this specific brush for was the mini brush in the handle. I love it!! The mini brush is perfect for bottle nipples, bottle rings, and the inner spectra flange parts! Definitely worth the money. I did take off a star, but only because sometimes the bottom for the mini brush starts twisting to come apart when I am trying to just wash bottles. Not a deal breaker for me at all though!

Cleaning bottles is difficult, I’m sure many of you have wrapped paper towels or a cloth around a long knife trying to get into corners. I’ve purchased several brushes, but they failed in doing the job. So when I went to Amazon’s site and searched bottle brushes up came ones for baby bottles…..it has been a long time since baby bottles have been in this house and it never dawned on me to research them. Bought it and it works beautifully and also the quality, it does bend, but flexible. The design allows you to get into corners & up the sides with ease. Perfect for travel mugs, water bottles, jars which I recycle and use for leftovers! Oh, I’m sure absolutely perfect for baby bottles to for all you Mom’s.

This is, by far, the superior bottle brush. I've tried 3 bottle brushes so far and if I had of seen this one first... my search would have ended right here. I've tried Dr Browns (has metal), Munchkin (cheap/falls apart) and some other off-brand brush. All those brushes fell apart and their nipple brush was crap 💩 (mostly silicone nipple brushes that don't get a good scrub). This brush looks as if the bristles are too rough and may scratch your bottles in pictures. I can assure you that this is not the case. These bristles are VERY soft and flexible. I have no worries about scratching my bottles. The nipple brush is made of actual bristles. It gets in the bottle nipples and really gives it a good clean. There's no metal pieces that will scratch your bottles either. These brushes stack nicely on the Boon grass drying racks. I will be immediately buying another one so that I always have a brand new one on hold. Very glad I found this brush. I've attached photos to help out other buyers. I bought it for $7-8 off Amazon. It’s not sold anywhere else in Canada. Someone would be smart to sell them on Amazon ☺️✌🏼

LOVE HOW it’s not a metal wired cleaning nipple brush. I order this every 6 months, only because I’m so hard on it whole cleaning my sons bottle nipples. And I like how it’s not a metal brush so I don’t have to worry about ripping the nipple.
