Completely seals and great noise reduction.
Works very well. I don't twist them before I put them in my ear. I place normally and hold and press into ear canal. They won't fall out! My husband twists his before inserting. I've literlly had to pull one out of his ear with tweezers it seals so well.

Eliminates noise distractions and very comfortable for your ears
Very effective noise-reduction earplugs, especially useful when you are on a different work-schedule than your spouse/roommate. While my wife is doing her thing around the house, I can fully concentrate on my computer programming job in the living room without distractions. Also, I should say that the earplugs are very comfortable to place in the ears and easy to remove. Great product, well worth the price.

great for side sleepers with snoring spouses
I have been trying several different styles of ear plugs available on Amazon to muffle the sound of my husband's snoring. Unlike other brands that I have tried, the Ear Buddy product stays in my ear the entire night (others end up coming out at some point) and it doesn't hurt my ears (others left my ear canal sore). The plugs are soft and easy to insert. The flared end allows them to sit in your ear without being too far in or making it hard to lay on your side. I also find the shape makes them easy to remove in the morning. They do a good job of muffling the sound of my husband's snoring but don't block all sound 100% - which is good in my opinion. I really like these. I hesitate to give them 5 stars because the product (like others) isn't reusable. I hope that manufacturers can either find a way to make reuse more practical or at least make these biodegradable. Wearing a new pair every night gets expensive and isn't very environmentally friendly - but this applies to other brands too.

Best combination of comfort and sound reduction
I need earplugs for three main things: 1) I'm a very light sleeper, 2) I go to a lot of live concerts, and 3) I am a bass player so I'm always standing next to the drummer at practice. I have religiously used earplugs for over 30 years. From fancy ones that cost $75+ with filters and other doodads to wadding up bits of napkin. These are the best I have ever used. They don't block out all sound - nothing does. They aren't perfectly comfortable - nothing is. But these are as close to either of those things as you will get. Whether they fit for you will depend on your ear size so that is a personal thing, I think my ears are a bit above average size - my teenagers don't use these, they think they are too big. Tips on use - don't get them wet, it ruins them. Change them after a few days because they lose effectiveness. Once you can't squish them down all the way and get them into your ear completely, it's time for a fresh pair. Don't let your cat play with them (lol). I keep them sealed in a ziplock bag overnight, it prolongs their use for a day or two. I find I get maybe five days out of each pair. No matter how well I get them in they sometimes still fall out when I'm sleeping, so using a headband like the musicozy helps to keep everything in place.

Highly recommend for students with loud roommates
Excellent. I live with a musician and someone who is addicted to league of legends (who screams frequently... and at night...) and I live next to a highway. I'm a college student who needed somewhere to live, but I didn't know what I was getting myself into with my current living arrangement (which I must endure for another year). These saved my life, or at least stopped me from gouging out my eardrums with a pencil. The day I got them I immediately put them in, following the instructions on the bottle. I sat in perfect silence in my room and fell asleep within 5 minutes ... turns out I missed a party at my own apartment because I slept through it. When you first put them in they don't block everything, but you can feel them slowly expand to fill the inside of your ear, and as they exand (over the course of maybe 10 minutes) everything gets progressively quieter. I randomly walked around my apartment to see what sounds I could or couldn't hear. Most sounds you can still hear, but significantly reduced... for example, you can hear a door shut, but only if you're in the same room. Certain sounds like typing or clicking on a computer are completely gone. Also eating-related noises are completely gone, which is good because I hate eating sounds. You can only hear people talking if they are in the same room as you, unless they're screaming, in which case you will hear a quiet screaming sound. Due to the occasional extreme loudness of my living situation, I'm also ordering noise-cancelling headphones to put on top of my plugged ears. But for most nights, the ear plugs work great... let people know you have them though, or they will think you're ignoring them. These earplugs did cause me some discomfort, but totally worth it for how well they block sound. These things are dangerously effective, and they will make your noisy roommates shut up without causing a conflict.

Sinply Get the Job Done
These things are great. I bought them for thw price and Amazon shipping. If you're new to ear plugs like I was, and are wondering if these are "quiet" enough, they are. I live in an apartment building. Recently theres been a nonstop sound of someone opening a bathtub faucet on full power that persists for a good 30 seconds, stops for about 5 minutes or less, then starts again, and this happens over and over. I'm thinking there must be a broken water heater somewhere, "conveniently" somewhere in the apartment right above my bedroom. I was going crazy trying to get sleep and resorting to strong sleeping pills. I finally decided to get these, and to be honest I can still hear the noise (its a really loud noise, like as loud as someone talking at normal room volume right next to you), but its quiet enough that I can get some actual sleep (with the ear plugs on the noise sounds like its at least 200 feet further away). Before the ear plugs I started resorting to sleeping in my living room to igbore the sound, but I would still be awoken early by the chatter of birds and the annoying cooing of pigeons. With these one I cant hear faint bird chatter or the cooing. So if you're having trouble sleeping these are comfortable enough to sleep with and truly isolate sound (enough that now I'm having slight trouble because I can hear my own pulse from inside my body). The only thing Is I wish they were a bit shorter, because when I insert it as deep as I can comfortably, It's really difficult to lay on the side of your head because the bed pushes them further down to the point where it hurts, so I'm forced to sleep facing up or facing down, or fruitlessly trying to use a pillow on the edge of my head to balance my head just a bit over the bed. Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't so I get frustrated and take one out of the ear I'm laying on (the bed or pillow keep things quiet enough in that ear).

OK
They are OK but don't quite block out the sound as much as I was hoping.

Best ear plugs Iโve used in 25 years of using them
Brilliant earplugs. The best Iโve used so far in 25 years of using them. They are different as they kind of stick to your ear. Need to pull them out carefully in the morning rather than just rip them out as they sort of seal. Best noise reduction Iโve ever had from ear plugs though and comfortable all night๐๐๐ป
