Worked for my onan generator! Exact pump I needed!!
This fuel pump fit and worked just as original I had on my onan generator. My generator kept turning off after a few minutes due to fuel pump overheating and stop pumping, this fix all my issues now my generator runs just as it should. This pump is great value for your money and definitely fits and performs as original.

Fuel pump works good
Our original fuel pump went out at 18.7 hours. Replaced it with this fuel pump generator started right up and kept running. I’m last longer than the original. This fuel pump was exactly like the original shape and size on this Cummings Onan, 4000 generator. I was not gonna spend the extra money on the factory fuel pump if it didn’t even last 19 hours

works well but ground connector is too small
It fit perfectly in my Cummins Onan 4000 Microquiet generator except the ground connector is too small to fit the bolt on the generator. I had to cut off their connector and splice on the one from the old fuel pump. It was not complicated to install, just difficult because of the generator design. Cummins left a lot of empty space at the back of the compartment but chose to put the fuel pump partially under the electronics module so everything has to come out to replace the fuel pump. Bad design by Cummins. Be sure to splice the connector on before installing the fuel pump. It is much easier to splice it that way.

Replacement pump
Worked great. Better than the Cummins pump that lasted three hours.

They are cheap for a reason
Installed and ran it 45 minutes. One month later started gen back up, ran for about 30 minutes and the pump failed. I understand they are cheap and we take our chances but less than 90 minutes of run time is unacceptable. Wish I could tell you there were better after market options but I think they are all the same. Some last a while, some don’t.

Fraction of the price, Onan 4000 works great
Extremely cheap fix if your generator runs for 3-10 minutes and just shuts off. I tried the “too much oil” trick that’s all over the web and this pump is what fixed it. I think when the fuel pumps start to go they can’t provide fuel when up to temperature. I ran my on board Onan 4000 for 45 minutes under hard load and it was fine. The only thing that worries me is how the factory fuel pump states low pressure only. I have not gauged the pressure this puts out so time will tell. No leaks, works just like factory. Buy some new fuel clamps that tighten by screw and expect some time to change this. Disconnect the batteries and remove the ECU (two torx head screws on the frame of the generator and one clip for the wire harness underneath the ECU) and electrical lines running to the solenoid. Removing the air filter cover plate can buy a little room. The factory fuel filter will thread into the inlet. I used a bit of gas Teflon thread tape for this and no leaks. I will update this review if any issues come about, but so far great.

Intermittent issues
This pump has intermittent operating issues. I ended up pulling it and biting the bullet to by Cummins. This is now in my RV toolkit as an emergency (roadside) backup.
