LG 5215EA3003A Genuine OEM Drain Hose Assembly for LG Washing Machines

I purchased this product after my hose split from a rub on the metal. This is super easy to install and works perfectly. On my washer it only required 5 screws and two clips to pull the old one. I would suggest having a towel ready because on mine there was still water in the pump and when I pulled the old hose off it all came out. I would recommend this to any person regardless of skill level on repairs.

During spin cycle on my Kenmore/LG washer, I noticed water draining out of the bottom of the machine. Removing the back panel was easy and I spotted the leaking hose right off. It is the hose that connects to the pump and to the plastic bulkhead fitting that is secured to the washer. The actual discharge hose that goes into the pipe in your laundry room connects to the other side. All have easy finger squeeze type clamps and it was a breeze to replace. Lightly lubricate the inside of the hose so installing it is easier over the respective fitting and also makes orienting it easier so the hose will conform to the necessary bend, etc. Make sure the hose clamp actually secures the hose to the plastic fitting and it is not so far forward/back that there is no clamping force on the fitting. After securing it, you can feel the hose and fitting and you will know if the clamp is in the proper location. Rotate the clamp ears away from anything it may rub against and you are good to go. Minutes after this picture was taken, I installed on the washer and now it is running like it should. Save the service call and fix the minor things yourself.

it fits . did not take my son long to put it in. happy i got my washer fix. just not sure about washing 2 weeks of clothes. lol works great

Went through 2 of these before I figured out what to do & get, as the online video instructions were worse than useless - they were just wrong. You need to buy the following to make these tubes glue to the tub, or they eventually shake off and create a major water disaster in your house. Yes, understand there are two tubes - glue the ends of both and do yourself a favor. Works great, flexible, and won't come off with this sealant. Its moderately expensive for such a small bottle - but better than fixing your wood floors... 3M(TM) Scotch-Seal(TM) Industrial Sealant 800, 5 oz

Original one got brittle, cracked, and leaked. This was a perfect replacement.

The part arrived on the third business day - much sooner than I expected since it is not a Prime item. Part is an authorized OEM replacement so it fit perfectly. Very easy to replace - 4 screws remove rear panel, 1 screw and 1 clamp secure part. Other suppliers of this hose don’t include the nylon adapter for the bulkhead end of the hose. Price is right, also.
