The content of the activity books in this series has been designed for students of Iranian Heritage who are learning Persian as a second language in a classroom. These activity books could be used as a supplement to the Elementary Persian Language textbook which is the main resource used in most Persian schools outside Iran. The letters used in each activity in this series are sequenced in the same order as the letters taught in the Elementary Persian Language textbook. If you are learning Persian on your own, you should be familiar with the Persian alphabet and be able to read the Persian script prior to using these workbooks. These practical activity books could provide you with fun and effective ways to expand your reading and writing vocabulary through a variety of activities such as puzzles, word searches and matching exercises.[REVISED EDITION] This is Book One of Two_ For more information regarding BAHAR BOOKS, visit: www.baharbooks.com Review: Learning Persian words - This book is geared to younger students but it can be helpful to older or adult learners. It presents basic Persian words and shows letter by letter how to write them. I would like to have seen more instruction in how to write Arabic cursive but you can learn a lot tracing and copying the words. Remember that Arabic words are written right to left. Review: Farsi Teacher Review- DO NOT BUY - I am so disappointed with this book.I believe the author has no proper knowledge of Farsi language. The alphabet is not introduced orderly or properly. The first letter of the Farsi alphabet is missing and starts with the second sound of the first letter then jumps to the 15th letter of the alphabet. The practices are not following the lessons typical of first grade. The pictures are drawn poorly or copied from another texts in black and white. Do not waste your money!!!!

GREAT BOOK
Very helpful Farsi activity book for kids. They learn the language through fun exercises. They can draw pictures of the words they learn and also they learn how to write the words. I highly recommend this book and the second one. Price is reasonable and the size of the book is just right. I give the book five stars.

Really good intro - my daughter loves it.
It's not cheap but then it's very difficult to get any quality (if any) books to teach your child or yourself Farsi. This book is fantastic. It's style is easy and such that my daughter actually asks to do her Farsi and sees it as part of playtime. Well done Nazanin.
