If I would have know such a short shelf like would not have spent hundreds of dollars, will have to donate so can be used now. **Q: my order arrived but it tastes sour. This is the first time to try oat milk. Don't know whether this is the normal taste.** A: It shouldn't have a sour taste. It should be somewhat creamy and have a faint oatmeal/nutty taste. One thing I would recommend: shake the container really well before each pour. The oat 'solids' can settle at the bottom and create a separation (which might be what you are tasting). Otherwise, you may have a bad batch and I would contact amazon to get a replacement. This is a really great milk/creamer substitute, so don't give up. **Q: What is the minimum shelf life on the product purchased through Amazon. .** A: While the price is excellent, my second time purchasing I had a 6-week expiration which was not acceptable. Note that once opened, they don't last more than a few days in the fridge. After 3-4 days I noticed a lot of white pieces floating around and my stomach hurt a lot.
