my first go at e-bike
okay so what i found out, to start fitting was easy, simple, take your stuff off put there's on and plug and play, not much more than that, simple.first go was a joy why i didn't get one before well cost obviously.now the bad bit, build quality, no problems with the bits others say are a problem, mine was the crank had some play that i was not happy about, so to explain what i found out, when new all fine but its the bearing seal that holds it tight. so as the seal wears the movement starts, so to what i found, nothing wrong with any bearings on crank shaft it was the shaft that was poor made,( poor quality) the movement was between the bearings and the shaft.i could contact seller return and wait on parts being fixed well china and back bike in bits for how long, sorry not for me so i had some bearing fit, job done works a treat.so to recall easy to put on did 20 miles movement in shaft not, not so good, but it was more of an annoyance to pay for something that had a fault, but to be truthful what do you expect, this is small money for a motor.in the end it has a great feel you peddle ( must put pressure on it) you get some help or a lot, it sucks you in to going faster and faster, if you stop pressure the motor cuts of so your in full control, simple no brake or throttle to bother about so for my first go more than chuffed, i would have gave 5 stars but for the play in crank which was an easy fix

Really effective bike conversion
I used to live amongst the gentle hills of Leicestershire and cycled most days for exercise and pleasure. Moving to North Gloucestershire, I found myself trapped in a village surrounded by hills that were too steep for me to climb comfortably on my bike. I bought this TSDZ2 kit as a solution, and converted my old Cannondale "Bad boy" to an e-bike. I have a decent set of tools and had no difficulty fitting the unit. A minor issue was that I had to use a longer bolt for the motor clamp as the Cannondale is rather chunky in that area. I was amazed at how quiet the motor runs. I can hardly hear it, yet it gives a powerful boost up those hills which I can now climb with ease. I still get plenty of exercise though, as I find I ride a lot further these days, and with a big grin. The range on my 48V 13AHr battery is amazing - 40 miles or more even on the highest boost. I have a 9-speed cassette with an 11 tooth smallest sprocket. I found the bike rather under-geared with the standard 42 tooth chain wheel. The cadence limits top speed, because one simply cannot pedal any faster. I have fitted a 52 tooth chainwheel (standard ones fit) and that is perfect. Changing to the lowest gear will climb a 1 in 10 hill with modest effort, while the highest gear gives a top speed as fast as would be sensible on the pot-holed roads round here. I was thinking of buying a Boardman HYB 8.9E, which looks a great bike, but doubt it would be better than this, which has cost me 1/4 the price. So far, I have nothing but praise for the conversion.

Wrong version sent
I’ve ordered two of the 750W 48V versions. Both arrived but one is the 36V version, so now I need to figure out how to reflash it to support my 48V battery... :(Other than that, the kits seem pretty decent.

older model?
This looks like an older model, available from 2017.Throttle can not be easily added at later date.

Great mid drive conversion
Been using this set up on 2 bikes that my wife and i own. It was pretty easy to install so long as you take your time and read the instructions. We have now done about 500 miles on each bike and love the set up. It means hills are no longer and issue, but you still need to pedel. They will easily do 30 miles of mixed terrain using various assist levels. If mainly on the flat or mainly using eco mode then 50miles maybe more.
