These are such beautiful, saturated, inky, large brush pens! As large brush pens, they are a little harder to control than small brush pens, so those who are new to handlettering may find them difficult to control. The more experienced modern calligraphers will love these high quality brush pens! They are so inky that they are very easy to use for watercolor purposes as well. You will not be disappointed.

These are AMAZING!!! Very easy to control. Smooth transition from thick to thin lines. They blend beautifully with a blending pen or with a water brush. The brush tip is very well made, and the colors are SO vibrant and pigmented. They also work great for doing washes and watercolor. I can't wait to purchase more sets. Hopefully, they will soon be more readily available in the US. Please note that these do take a bit longer to dry than similar brush pens.

I desperately wish these nibs would be available in a lightfast ink pen. That would be game over for every competitor. As it is I will go to these pens for absolutely everything that doesn’t need to be lightfast. The ink is vibrant and beautiful and blends wonderfully with water or a blender pen or just the pens themselves. The nibs are obviously going to stand up to years of regular use without complaining. They are firm and durable and still flexible for incredible brush effects. I can get a very thin line and a huge wet stroke from the same brush, which as a watercolor painter, I get excited about. I’ve only swatched them out and colored a simple sketch in so far, but I test all of my go-to techniques in my swatch tests and they all work wonderfully. These pens were worth the price and I’m definitely going to spring for the full color set.

Since I do a lot of lettering I was looking for something different and something that I could be creative with. These are not cheap or low end pens. Be prepared to pay for them but also be prepared for real exciting results as you use them. They blend just by touching the tips and after a couple strokes the original color returns. Well worth the investment if you have never tried paint pens. I will replentish with the Karin Brand!!

careful about getting ink on fingers etc, almost can not remove. I wear a glove now on the hand I favor for painting writing etc. the marker ink will get on the insides of cap, will leave unnoticable ink on barrel and that is a problem as as you hold it towards the tip a small amount will comes off on your fingers. I had to use soft scrub to get it off and it took some effort. Other than that, no complaints, beautiful ink markers, takes watercolor to a new level, so many ways to use them. try it in a small puddle of water, not a deep one, put the tip in it and watch it explode....also on wet paper (cotton watercolor hot or cold pressed) the colors will really move.....experiment and have fun, I love them! Ordered more. :)

I like these markers but they aren’t as juicy as other reviews suggest. Somme were dry and a few had frayed tips out of box. They’re good compared to cheap watercolor markers but still not lots better. I’ve bought 2 packs but will probably stick with eco online or wins or and newton in future. Am still on my quest to find the one that actually responds like watercolor and has a real brush tip. If you know of one please share. I love brush markers have at least 1000 but haven’t found the great one yet!!

The pigment quality is insane. They glide on and dry smooth. Great price for quality. Great color ranges. Does take a moment to dry and will saturate paper; I use mixed media paper. Overall will buy again

These makers are wonderful. I have been doing watercolor for 6 months and just wanted to try makers. These bring a new way to express myself with paint. Get a watercolor pen and have fun. Many you tube videos available

La confezione arriva sigillata avvolta da uno strato di plastica, ho trovato ragionevole il fatto che ogni pennarello fosse sprovvisto di essa, avendo quindi meno plastica. La punta è morbida, ideale sia per l'hand lettering che per dipingere stile acquarello. I colori si sfumano bene tra di loro e si possono usare i pennelli per creare ulteriori sfumature. Bisogna essere delicati senza premere troppo, perchè il carico di colore è pesante, quindi si rischia di fare delle sbavature. Si asciugano abbastanza in fretta. Consiglio una carta di cotone per acquarello, leggermente ruvida in ogni caso e non una liscia, proprio perchè, a mio parere, risultando molto carichi di colore si rischia di far macchia. Appena potrò ne ordinerò altri, perchè mi sto davvero trovando benissimo!
