for the price - does the job I needed it to do
I needed a pair of small speakers for my boat - the speaker that are in the boat are mounted at ankle level and do not cast the sound to your ears - especially over the sound of the water and engine. SO I was looking at a small footprint speaker - small in size and in depth. For less than 20 bucks I took a chance on these speakers. Took a piece of wood and drilled the proper hole and then made a 3D "cup" to cover the rear of the magnet, 4 sturdy zip ties and it is held nicely into place. Pros simple size and simple install sound is ok, not the absolute best, but you cannot expect this size speaker to be fantastic anyway. Does produce a good mid and high - Cons Bass was distorted once pushed - and the head unit is rated at 40 w per channel - and if bass boost is on, it will distort badly - however, this may be the fault of the head unit being pushed at a high level. This mount is unique - IF I have to lower the bimini top - I will have to cut the 4 zip ties....but I do not lay the bimini down anyway, and if I have to do so, I build in a quick male/female disconnect to aid in the take down. I took the 25' deck boat out and stood in the middle, left of the seat and the sound was fantastic!!! Loud enough and clear enough to do the job, and all for 20 bucks, Shoot if they only last a year - well worth the price!!!

Fairly impressed
I wasn't expecting huge amounts of bass out of these, but hey, that's what the 12" 1000W subwoofer is for. I bought these to replace the 4" dash speakers in my girlfriend's VW Cabrio and after some slight "modifications" to her dash, the speakers fit quite nicely as did the stock grilles. I was originally doing a strictly Sony Xplod theme in her car, but I was having great difficulty finding 4" Sony 2-ways that were under $50 (I think <$22 is a great price for these). They're the only part of the entire stereo system not bearing a Sony label and, even though I'm very anal about consistency, they do the job quite nicely. The tweeters are great and the woofers actually give some decent mid to upper-mid range and the bass knocks they do provide don't rattle the hell out of them and destroy the sound integrity. I was very, VERY skeptical at first because, while I've heard of Pyle, I've never had any personal experience to which I could discern. I read reviews of these and other Pyle speakers of similar sizes and wattage and the sporadic reviews also made me wary. But I took a chance and I'm actually impressed. If you have good mid-low range speakers, I would definitely recommend these as your upper mid-high range speakers. I have the 6.5" 4-ways in the doors and back side panels and the amp/subwoofer in the trunk connected to the head unit (all Sony) in combination with these Pyle speakers and let me tell you, it's LOUD.

Great little speakers!
Great little speakers! Used it on a Bluetooth cooler project and it worked great for my application. Also a great price, great fit and super easy to hook up.

Affordable, and they rock
The factory Harmon Kardon speakers in my old Avalon were starting to get buzzy at certain frequencies. I didn't have a lot of money for replacements, but I needed a decent mid-driver for the doors. Let's just say I'd forgotten just how good the stereo sounded when I first got it. Now it's there again. These will run you out of the car if you get too happy with the volume button, and the sound is crystal clear. I'd say I'm impressed, but that doesn't really cover it. More like... I'm amazed a set of $22 speakers can sound that good, and put out that kind of volume without distortion. Pyle's got a new fan, and when the time comes to replace the speakers in the Accord, I'll be going with Pyle. *Edit* 21 months later, they still rock. I don't believe you can do better for what these cost. You need to go into it understanding that 4" speakers are not built for bass. The mids, and highs are where these shine. If you don't have larger speakers somewhere in your vehicle that are capable of producing good bass, you won't have it. My car came with a factory sub, and ALL the bass comes from there.

Worked on my Gold Wing
I used these to replace the front speakers on my GL1500 Gold Wing. I had to rotate the speaker and drill new holes but they fit. They don't sound great but the OEM speakers were even worse, so technically they are an improvement. If you want a good sound system on a motorcycle get a good bluetooth helmet.

Sound is on par with the price, good fit for an arcade
I replaced some old 4" speakers that I had in my arcade cabinet with these Pyle speakers. The speakers are driven by an 2 x 18w amp and the sound is really good for what I'm using it for. The majority of the time it's just for games on the arcade cabinet which are mostly 8bit anyway, but I also dual boot to Windows and run games on steam or stream music and for that they work really well. The amp has a separate bass and treble control. So, that helps a lot with the sound from these speakers. These work great depending on your needs. Just keep in mind they are only 4" and really inexpensive. So, manage your expectations before you wire them up.

Also die Rezessionen hier sind nicht zu verstehen. Lautsprecher haben einen gute Klang aber von 180 Watt nicht die Rede! Mit 40 watt sind wir dabei aber der Preis ist trotzdem okay
