Mission First Tactical Battlelink Adjustable Cheek Piece

Nicely done. A few words for thought...if your eye sights through your sighting optics, whatever they may be, with your cheek pasted to your buttstock upper surface, you don't need an add-on cheek weld. If you have to take your cheek off the buttstock upper surface to sight through your sighting optics, you may need this. Make sure it will fit your buttstock before you purchase...there are mounting gadgets that have to fit in specific places on the buttstock, on the upper part and the lower part of the lower section of this device. You also have to get used to racking the bolt handle back so your hand doesn't crash into the front end of the cheek weld as you let go of the bolt handle...the rear end of the fully extended bolt handle comes very close to the front-most extension of the cheek weld. If planning to use with the stock collapsed in an emergency or for other reasons, the cheek weld will have to be raised by some amount to allow the bolt handle to rack all the way back. I have a raptor handle and can barely hang onto the sides of the handle as it goes under the front section of the cheek weld, with cheek weld raised enough to clear the handle. You may want to consider some hacksaw modifications to overcome this problem. I wound up not using the one I bought...didn't need it with the optics I currently have...may need it in the future if I use different sighting optics.

Build quality is fine and cheek-rest stays adjusted; but when adjusted to my preferred height (which admittedly is not much of an adjustment at all), this interferes with proper operation of the charging handle on my AR10. For those who do not operate their ARs "nose to charge handle" or prefer a 1" or more elevation from the stock may not experience this issue.

Great item, although if you use the Minimalist stock, the 'arms' on the side of this stick down waaaaay low and kind of ruin the point of the Minimalist's form factor.Sits solid and snug.Good luck not losing the stock 'tool'! (can be EASIALLY replaced by any good flathead)

If you put some sort of medium underneath this cheekweld it might stay one, but I don't recommend this. The hardware which is supposed to hole the cheek piece to the buttstock is poorly engineered and does not hold. It will not tighten and is more than happy to come loose. Don't buy this.

nice product. I found out after the fact, this was designed for use with another Mission First stock, however they did include the same groove and notches on the minimalist stock for this to fit securely so it's a great product that the manufacturer though ahead on. :)

I read the listing repeatedly, wanting to make sure it would work for the MFT minimalist butt stock. I the description says it will, but this is very misleading and disappointing. It will fit on, but it has no way to stay in place. It slides forward and then off easily. If just shooting at the range it would be okay, but for training, hunting, etc. it will be annoying

This thing is great, perfect your cheek weld with it, especially for higher scopes. Very sturdy and comfortable, adjusts by loosening 2 flat head screws that can be loosened with a coin or the included flat head tool.
