Primarily, I ride alone, and listen to podcasts. These are way better than snaking ear buds into the helmet and hoping they don't fall out while riding. Answering calls is a nice bonus, I guess. I've tested it out, it sounds good, but I get out on the bike to . . . get out on the bike. But, for the podcasts and occasional music, it sounds good, feels better on my ears than the ear buds, and the battery life is great.I have the second one for if I've got a pillion. I installed it on my spare helmet, and tested it out a few times. It sounds great, but the problem is that the devices seem to forget each other every trip. As best as I can tell, if they are paired, you have to press the off button and hold it. It will make a noise and you keep holding it. It makes another beep and then it is off. If you don't hold it long enough (easy to do after riding for a while and your hands are cold or stiff or you just have a small spasm and move your finger a bit), it loses the pairing. The only way to get it to re-pair is to erase all of the saved connections (i.e. the pairing with my phone) on both and then re-pair the intercom, and then re-pair the phone. Which isn't that big of a deal, except getting the devices to pair in the intercom mode is a bit tricky. I've never been able to do it while out. Before and/or after a ride, I've got to bring both helmets in the house, clear all connections, and put them next to each other and press the pairing at the same exact time on both helmets. There isn't much margin for error.Installation is tricky, and you probably want to see how much of your helmet padding is removable. I tried on both helmets to use the hard mount, but they wouldn't work with the curves on the helmets. Even with the soft mount, there are very limited places where you can mount the control module where it doesn't bend too far to be able to slide it into the clip. That said, I was skeptical it would hold up well with the soft mount because of the curvature, but after a few months, there haven't been any problems.Once you get the control module mounted, snaking the wires through the helmet is a crapshoot. On my primary helmet, it was easy to remove all of the padding to get the speakers/mic mounted. Putting it back together was trickier with getting the padding to snap back into place. The wires aren't huge, but if the snaps are close enough together it is hard to get them both back into place if you run the wire between them. On the extra helmet, not all of the padding came out, and I've currently just got the wires wedged into place where the padding hits the edge of the helmet. I used a hard plastic scraper for bondo to push the wires in enough that I didn't think they'd fall out, and so far so good. I mean, you only have to install it once, but it took WAY longer than I thought it would to get it into both helmets.Overall, for just the phone pairing, it is great to listen to music without something sticking in my ear. For the intercom, it seems like the functions should be swapped - turn off with a short press, reset connections with a long press. Once paired, it works fine, but setting up the pairing and keeping them paired hasn't been working out so well so far. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work great! *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 19, 2022* Battery life is way beyond what I expected! They enjoy long drives together on their motorcycle, but we learned they could only "talk" through abstract hand signals when they were on the road. They're in their late 50s, and were able to install the headsets on their own. I helped them with the bluetooth setup. They want on a 4-hour drive through Escalante, UT the next day with their club and were able to talk to each other with the intercom the whole time.
