Universal Film Reel Developing Tank W/2 Adjustable Reels

Got this as a second tank so I can process more film. The tank seems identical to my other tank and works just fine but the reels included have a major difference compared to my other reels. The difference is that the reels that come with this tank don't have a flat plastic "platform" on which to place the film end when loading the film into the reel. This "platform" serves as a great orientation point as your trying to find the loading point of the reel in the dark, it also makes it much easier to get your film started loading. I can't understand why one would design a reel that left this feature out! The absence of this makes it much more difficult to start your film loading. I will be buying two platic reels to replace the two that came with this tank.

I used a plastic developing tank in 1986 and began looking for another in 2011 to renew my old hobby for black and white photography. This is a pretty good tank. All you need is to carefully read the manual before using it.

Worked like a charm, as usual. Great product, just be sure to be nice to the reels, they're a little sensitive.
