It is always hard to know whether a supplement is potent or not and hard to judge quality. But, this one seems to be good. I can tell I am taking it. I have done better taking a lower dosage than is suggested twice a day (still equaling only 2/3 of what the bottle suggests) and that is perfect. I notice the slight energy boost and the increased blood flow when I need it. When I took the full dosage and when I even tried a bit higher, the benefits seemed to be no better and according to my smart watch, my baseline heart rate went up. But, at one capsule 2X a day my heart rate stays normal and I seem to get the energy and blood flow benefits. Bottom line, seems to be a good product and I wil buy again.

They delivered on this, and I can tell. If it doesn't say it's 6 years old, it probably isn't. Many brands are cheaper or have more capsules, but they aren't grown long enough to fully mature and develop the flavonoids needed for ginseng to give you the best effects. One of the things it does is it crosses the blood-brain barrier and upregulates estrogen receptors safely, as opposed to the genistein and daidzein of soy. In both sexes, arousal begins with an estrogen flush in the brain, and while this won't cause it, it won't inhibit it either. And believe me, there are plenty of destructive estrogen mimics and blockers around us and in us now. Some even block androgen receptors, like BPA and many of its successors. Even to the extent they're increasingly interfering with reproductive abilities. Good ginseng also protects androgen receptors from harm, both by chemical and metabolic stressors, and whether male or female, you need those for proper function. Although I'm taking a break now, as you're supposed to do for 3 weeks every 4 months, I won't take all 3 gel caps when I do. I find 2 is enough, and sometimes 1 if there's caffeine. But ginseng doesn't keep you awake like coffee. Some people actually get relaxed and sleep after taking it, depending on where they were to begin with. I like the gel caps because I feel the extract has a quicker effect, and most effective forms are extracts, from black tar to infused or this gel. I gave it a 5 for value for the money for all the reasons above, but mostly because it's able to state outright that it's 6 years old.

Works well but the pills are a bit big, so I chewed them because the ginseng liquid in inside of the pill. The outer capsule of the pill looks and tastes like plastic. Enjoy when I spit out the outer capsule it looks like brown plastic. 3 stars because of the size. Otherwise it's good.
