Review: I don't know how it works so good. - My neighborhood has had an out of control chipmunk problem for a couple years. I got one of those Havahart small traps. I watched one chipmunk get trapped and he slipped right out of the cage. I wrapped chicken wire around it and caught another one, but it took a few days. I also caught 2 squirrels and a possum. They aren't tearing up my foundation and getting under my siding, so they are fine. I found this trap and decided to give it a try. Out of the box it was a little bent, had to straighten it out a little, but nothing too bad. I baited it with a lot of mixed nuts. When I was doing it I though "man that's a lot, probably 2 weeks worth of food for one of these little rodents" but it was already baited so I went on about my day. 4 hours later I come back and there's 2 dead chipmunks in the cage. I don't know how they died, I suspect they were storing food in their mouths and then choked on it in a panic when they couldn't get out. If you got a better theory let me know. If you're looking to kill em off, you can give that a go. I disposed of those critters, hosed off the concrete and the cage. There should have been nothing there to bait chipmunks in. Get home from work on day 2 and there's another chipmunk in there NO BAIT! Got rid of that guy and left it there, still without bait. Wake up the next morning and BAM another chipmunk. I moved the trap out the sight of my cat who was freaking out and went to do some chores. Come back to dispose of that guy an hour or two later, and I got another one. I'm not sure what chipmunks love about this cage, but they can't resist going in when walking by. Don't waste time and money trying another trap. This is the one to get.

### ⭐ Works good but the construction of the trap is weak

Worked great on the first squirrel, caught in a day of having the trap out. On the forth day of being out a squirrel broke one of the trap doors off. The welds broke off and the door was laying in the bottom of the trap. I just closed off that opening for now and Im just using the one trap door for now. Not too impressed with the construction, figured it would last more than a few days. Waiting on a response from the company about a replacement trap or door.
