And even when mixed with plain water, IT DOES!!!!!! The texture is great. It has a little grain to it, but it absolutely is not offensive or overpowering. I'm going to try mixing it with some soy milk tomorrow and see how that tastes. If you're worried about which protein powder to buy, BUY THIS ONE!! Seriously. There is just one flaw, sodium. If you have high blood pressure and are limiting your sodium intake to 1000mg a day 2 scoops will get to that number in no time. Just watch you sodium intake.
