As an older person, my legs have some visible veins, imperfections. I just put on the lotion, it's a little orange, bit my legs look much better, doesn't hide everything completely, but it's a big improvement. Nice to wear skirts, shorts, etc.

I am 70 yrs. old and self-conscious about my legs. With dark spots and a few varicose veins I generally wear long skirts or leggings. I watched 5 different you tube videos before purchasing it to be sure it was something that would be a fit for me. Well, I tried it last evening and it worked so well I couldn't believe how nice my legs looked. I live in Florida and since I have a slight tan already I purchased the medium color. Don't get scared applying it. I did as one video said and applied moisturizer first, let it dry, then start from the upper leg and work down so by the time it hits your feet there's not much left on your hands. I waited 20 minutes before dressing just to be sure it wouldn't transfer and it didn't. Wash your hands with soap and water and be sure to do under your nails. It appears orangey at first but once you smooth it out it will look great and give you a good coverage to feel confident. I would recommend it and I hope it works for you.

Tried it on my freckles on my calves. OMG my leg was orange!!! Quickly wiped it off which took some effort and then threw it in the trash.

It does NOT cover spider veins, this is NOT full coverage by any means but does dull the appearance of them. Was disappointed since this is why I purchased it. Comes out orange color, you REALLY need to blend it in. First used my hands, then a brush I purchased for applying and the brush works much better, would highly recommend using a brush. Bought the medium, leaves a very light tan color after blending. Blending is the key. Makes my legs and arms looked air brushed and slightly tanned, nice look. Did rub off in some areas but seems to wash out of clothing. Lasts through a shower but not sure about being in a pool for a while. Would purchase again.

I didn't get a chance to use this because once I took the cap off, I could see it was way too dark for me. The medium color us actually quite dark. I'm going to reorder the light.

It took some getting used to, but this is a great product. I consider it superior to self tanners, which I've done a lot of. Tips for use....I shave legs, then lightly apply an oil, either Neutrogena body oil or Keri Moisture Rich Oil. This actually assists with application. Use thin nitrile glove to apply Salley Hansen Leg Makeup. Use a very small amount, and spread very RAPIDLY over leg, as it dries fast. Work quickly. Touch ups can be made. Best to use less until you master the applying. Medium can be quite dark. The color looks natural. It lasts very well. I do not get clothes stains. Love this product!

I am a blonde with light skin. I bought the Light & Medium shades. Tested both in small area 1st. I love the Medium. Gave good coverage leaving Smooth Look. Not hard to use. My Experience & Process,… AT 6:30 pm, wearing tight fitting latex gloves, I put about a quarter size of product in each hand, then vigorously & quickly rubbed the lower half of my leg including top of my foot, around ankles & knee. I repeated the same application for my upper leg. Then went on to same process on second leg. FOR A MOMENT, I WAS SCARED BECAUSE IT TURNED PRETTY ORANGE. BUT IMMEDIATELY IT WENT INTO A NICE EVENLY COVERED BROWN COLOR. IT DRIED VERY QUICKLY WITH NO ODOR AT ALL. Sat on sheet covered couch all evening, went to bed (again on an old sheet expecting some wood rub off. Surprisedly, it did NOT! After I took a shower in the morning, there was an VERY SLIGHT amount that rubbed off. But my legs were STILL very brown and smooth looking. It’s been 3 days (showers daily) & I STILL have brown color. I plan to try my arms next & repeat every few days. Picture is after 3rd day (looks more brown in person). I should’ve done before and after pics but forgot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

I like this stuff because it’s quick unlike a spray tan. I have been using it for years! It’s immediate! Great color! Don’t understand why some say it’s orange??? NO it’s not! I have a very fair complexion and even the tan looked great and not orange at all. Just want a natural look and no tan???…get the fair! I leave mine on for one hour when in a hurry before I dress and it doesn’t get on clothes after that. It looks natural and soaks in and doesn’t feel or look like you are wearing makeup at all! I like how it looks right away and when it sets in, it’s even better. I usually shower before bed, put it on, wear just a robe let it set in for 30 minutes while I do my face regimen and take my allergy pill. I sleep and it REALLY sets for the next morning for my legs to look nice in my shorts or dress and doesn’t rub off at all but you can def also use it quickly and let it dry for 30 minutes or so! I do recommend waiting to get dressed for at least 30 minutes so it sets in and doesn’t rub off too bad on your clothes. You can rub your leg or wear clothes and none comes off on you at all! Comes off easily in the shower with soap. If you want something on in the pool, you really need a self tanner. I don't recommend this for being in the water. I LOVE This stuff and have been using it for YEARS! Makes my legs look younger and I can wear shorts or a skirt without worrying about white cottage cheese legs. I have a few vericose veins and it covers those great! Don’t need a mit, your hands wash off easily with soap really quick. Sometimes I even put a dab on my face before my actual foundation makeup and it covers my age spots on my face too! I included a pic of me wearing some at my last big event/party. See how natural it looks!
