7-Leg Heavy Duty Adjustable Metal Bed Frame – Queen/Full/Full XL/Twin/Twin XL, Center Support Rail, Locking Wheels, Noise-Free, Easy Assembly – Support for Box Spring & Mattress

We bought this frame because we purchased a new queen-size mattress and our old frame did not have a support in the middle that I thought we should have. It arrived in a long box (almost the length of the bed) that was pretty heavy. All the parts were there that we needed for assembly. One thing to think about before you put the wheels in the legs is... on which two legs do you want the locking wheels. The hardest part was removing the mattress and box springs to make room for the new frame. Nothing was bent and it appears to be made of decent, nicely coated metal. The box springs fit perfectly. One of the things I like best is the height is perfect for allowing the under-bed storage containers to fit. With my old frame my husband had to make blocks for the legs to get the frame high enough above the floor. Two of the wheels lock securely so that the bed does not move when we sit up in bed but allows me to pull it out enough to change the bottom sheet. I am extremely pleased with the value, ease of assembly and the way it was made. Down the road if something breaks or if it doesn't appear as well made as I've stated, I will edit/update my review

Sturdy, made of good material and easy to put together to give bed stability

For a 9" memory foam mattress I got a Kings Brand Furniture 7-Leg Adjustable Metal Bed Frame with Center Support Rug Rollers and Locking Wheels for Queen/Full/Full XL/Twin/Twin XL Beds - an adjustable twin bed frame with sturdy wooded slats - Classic Brands Wooden Bed Slats Bunkie Board Frame for Any Mattress Type . The frame is adjustable so if we upgrade this bed to a full or queen bed we don't have to buy a new frame! It is very sturdy and on heavy duty rollers. It is attached to a upholstered headboard with bolts. It is a little low since I'm not using box springs. That lowness would be great for a kids bed. When I sit my knees are higher than the bed. I'm going to order risers to go under each leg. Next time I'll buy a thicker memory foam mattress. The bed frame came in a box - 15" x 5" x 72" and I opened it to find another box inside - both boxes of thick cardboard - to protect the bed frame during shipping. It maybe the best manufacturer's packaging I have seen in all my years of Amazon shopping. It took about 20 minutes to assemble - if that. It has 4 wide rollers and 3 center legs for support and nice sturdy rails and a cross piece. I would be careful moving this bed on carpeting. I have it on a pine floor so it scoots just fine - but the support legs in the center may snag on taller or "sculptured' carpeting. Otherwise it is much sturdier and much easier to put together than other frames I have purchased. Bonus info: You can use it this frame as a standalone - without a headboard or footboard. Or, this frame has a flat plate to bolt to a headboard. If your headboard has slots you'll need to buy hooks to attach. Such as: #711 Bolt-On to Hook-On Bed Frame Conversion Brackets with Hardware If you wish to attach a footboard you'll need these extenders: Kings Brand Bed Frame Footboard Extension Brackets Set Attachment Kit - Twin/Full/Queen/King Bonus tidbit #2: I was less impressed with the slats. They were 1/8" too long so required cutting. That's 14 slats and no power saw in sight. By the time I got them in the frame 2 were crackrI think it would be better to just purchase wood planks locally. Put this frame together, measure carefully between the rails (at the head, middle and foot of the bed), then subtract 1/2' off the measurements for ease. Then go to your local building supply - they will cut 1x4" board(s) to fit between the rails for you - usually free or at a low cost. If you are using a box springs you need at least 5 slats. If you are sleeping on a mattress or directly on the frame you will need about 12 slats - that will leave a 3.4" gap between each board. Use nylon strapping and a staple gun to string them together and keep them from shifting if you wish. All the best! Cindy

I purchased this frame for my gf's queen sized bed after her old frame was just about ready to give out. I chose this frame not only for it's great reviews, but because of the added support of the three legs in the middle of the frame, rather than just being supported by the four corner legs. We ordered the frame and it came quickly with prime. When we opened up the box, it seemed oddly packaged. With the wheels already being inserted where they had to be and nothing being in plastic. We followed the directions exactly, but ended up with a noticalbe wobble that could not be ignored even after putting the mattress on. I requested an exchange and within a couple of days, received our replacement frame. We opened the box and THIS frame was actually factory packaged. Plastic covering certain parts, nothing partially assembled. We again, put it together using the instructions and this time came out with a great result. An extremely sturdy bed frame. I suspect that we might have received a previously refunded bed frame the first time around the way it was packaged. Something to keep an eye out for. We've had this frame for over a month now and it still feels as sturdy. No movement. I would highly recommend this frame. Great value, great price. Just be sure you receive an actual NEW frame, not a previously returned frame.

First and foremost, I am impressed with the quality construction of this bedframe. It is fabricated from 1-inch heavy gauge steel angle stock. The design uses a diagonal support truss between the two side frames for additional support. There are wheeled posts located on each of the four corners of the frame, two posts located at the center on the head and foot sections, and a post located in the exact center of the diagonal section. The diagonal section is attached to the side frames with a bolt/nut at each end. I used a small crescent wrench to tighten the nut. No other tools needed. All frame and stand parts are steel except for the lower plastic piece on the center post on the diagonal frame. Two of the four wheels are locking wheels. Shipping box measured about 72 inches by 8 inches by 6 inches. Interesting observation: With this purchase of a queen-size bed frame for the bed in the spare bedroom, I now realize the frames on the other beds in the house are not of the same sturdiness and quality. I could not be more pleased with this bed frame.
