Homesick Scented Candle, Birthday Party

I love the way these candles burn. The scent is perfectly balanced and Birthday Party is smells like marshmallow, cake & sugar. It was the perfect accompaniment to our daughters birthday and provided a sweet, fun ambiance to the room. "Birthday Party" is quite fragrant and is in a generous glass container. I particularly love how clean these candles burn, there is little soot and it provides ample fragrance. Would make a wonderful addition to any home, party or gift.

This "birthday cake" candle is so nice! This candle is highly scented without being overwhelming - the scent definitely remains and stays strong the whole time it is burning (not just heavily scented on the top and nowhere else). It is a high quality candle. The packaging is nice - it is packaged well to avoid damage but still really nice and presentable for a gift.

I am thrilled with this candle. I love candles and after you've used as many as I have, you notice the details the separate the high quality from the low. This one stands tall in the high quality camp. It has a thick wick, which is one of the more important parts of a solid burning candle. The wick is centered, which leads to a consistent and even burn throughout. If you don't have this then halfway down the candle you have wax building up along the wall and it looks pretty cheap from then on. And lastly, the scent lasts... so many candles start strong but then fizzle out with their effectiveness.

This candle has a wonderful fragrance--heavy on the vanilla, like freshly baked cake or cookies (it IS birthday cake fragrance, so they did it right!). The packaging is also really pretty and this would make a really nice gift for the candle lover in your life.

Ive had birthday cake candles before and they are my favorite. This one has a very nice fragrance and it does smell like cake frosting but not as strong as others I’ve had so it’s not overwhelming and nauseating when you burn it for a long time. My husband came home and commented on how good it smelled upstairs. It burns very even and very slow, it’s a well made candle. I had it lit for probably 4 hours and the wick didn’t drown or flare and the wax remained even across the top, no round depression formed around the wick. My two suggestions to the manufacturer would be, put a lid on this candle! The room smells so nice and then you blow it out and all you smell is smoke. A lid acts as a snuff and then there is no smoke leaving the jar, isn’t that the whole point of a candle in a jar??? Second suggestion would be the intensely simplistic, boring put you to sleep, sad depressing label. I know it’s called homesick but I don’t want to feel sad when I’m homesick, I want to be picked up. Its also called a birthday candle, what birthday doesn’t have festive colors, balloons, flowers, candles, something memorable right? Black lettering on a white label is like a funeral candle. Ok, so that’s my opinion. I still really like your candle itself but let’s celebrate the birthday, the memories of home, not mourn them!

This candle is the size and shape of a soda can. It comes beautifully boxed and is an excellent gift. The scent is pretty much vanilla with a little something extra that I can't really place. The scent is pretty strong with this candle. It burns evenly. Really nice candle.

This is a deliciously scented candle, with strong notes of vanilla and butter. It is a very warm and welcoming scent that definitely brings birthday cake and home cooking to mind. I would recommend this for anyone trying to stage a home for sale.

This candle smells delicious. The description of "sweet, buttery smell of freshly baked vanilla cake smothered in buttercream frosting." is on target. Have enjoy the light scent over the last past couple of nights. This candle in this decorative box makes an attractive gift.
