The dimensions seem large. This would be for a person who shreds a small amount several times a week.** A: It is larger than a typical home shredder, but I love it. If you are shredding several times a week, this is a good model. Only, don't shred junk mail envelopes with the cellophane windows. They melt as the shredder gets warm during use, and it can clog the shredder. I found that out the hard way. Otherwise, really terrific machine! **Q: On a scale of 1-5 and 5 being the loudest...how noisey is it?** A: Small cheap shredder at home = 5. This one = 2. This is located in a cube farm, and it is not offensive even though I have direct line of sight at a 15 foot distance. **Q: I'm having trouble putting in the casters. They don't snap all the way in, then they fall out easily. Do I need to remove the O-ring from the stem? -- thank you for the answers! A BIG shove did the trick!!** A: I happened to have a rubber mallet in my tool box. Good tool to own. Turn the shredder upside down, place the casters in the hole and push down firmly by hand and then a couple of light whacks with the mallet and they go in all the way.
