You could put it in the oven. BUT if the oven is hot it will MELT.

It does come with a cutter, but I don’t use it, since I use the outside of the box.

what is the difference between Reynolds 914 and 916 food service film?

Reynolds 914 is 18" wide. Many times I wanted film that was a little wider. Reynolds 916 is a full 2' (24") wide. It works better when you want to cover a big dish or pan or something.
