Genuine article at about 20% above MSRP, in this day and age, not too bad. Yes, switching your system to ton windows 11 may have to wait, but to get your Z170 up to spec = spot on.

Didn’t work, didn’t fit, complete waste of time
The part didn’t fit despite being the correct serial number and type. Probably some fake Chinese knock off like half the rubbish Amazon sells. Everything on Amazon is cheap for a reason. Factory seconds and worse are their bread and butter.

Originales Produkt – funktioniert einwandfrei!
Ich habe das Asus TPM-M R2.0 Modul bestellt, um mein System mit einer zuverlässigen TPM-Lösung auszustatten und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Es handelt sich zu 100 % um ein originales Produkt, kein China-Nachbau oder generisches Modul wie sie leider oft bei anderen Anbietern mit falschen Artikelbildern verkauft werden. Die Installation war unkompliziert, das Modul wurde sofort erkannt und funktioniert wie erwartet einwandfrei. (ASUS Maximus VIII Hero) Ein kleiner Hinweis zur Verpackung: Das Modul kam gut geschützt an, war jedoch lediglich in Bubble Wrap gewickelt und in geknülltes Papier eingeschlagen. Zwar war es dadurch sicher verpackt, allerdings wirkte es optisch nicht besonders professionell. Dennoch zählt am Ende der Inhalt und der stimmt hier absolut. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, die ein originales TPM-Modul suchen!

Didnt work
Had to send it back, the product was Dead on arrival and prevented system from even powering up.

Perfect. Worked on my asus z170-A board and intel i7-6700k for windows 11!!!
installed the tpm chip. bios picked it up right away but windows 10 pc check for 11 still showed that it was missing. So ran the tpm.msc and cleared/reinitialized the chip in windows. After restart windows picked up the chip. So now only the i6700k was not compatible. googled how to bypass that - found a page where you have to edit registry to ignore the check and downloaded the iso to usb. must install from within windows 10. worked excellent but strange that upon install of windows 11 it asked me to confirm that my system is not compatible. All worked however, running windows 11 home on Asus z170-A with intel i6700K
